A Red Dead Redemption 2 player discovered the game’s NPCs are so detailed they also love to sleep. The title’s online element recently had a tool developed to help players find all of Madam Nazar’s possible locations alongside a plethora of hidden collectibles. While Red Dead Online hasn’t received the same massive community as its counterpart, Grand Theft Auto Online, it still receives updates and patches, with members of the community even using it to host work meetings.
Despite Rockstar’s continued support, Red Dead Online is not without its glitches and bugs, though, they are balanced by the amount of detail and easter eggs scattered throughout the game world. Dedicated players are also continuing to find real-world landmarks from the game’s locations, some of which match up with buildings across the United States.
Reinforcing the details thrown into Red Dead Redemption 2, a Reddit user recently discovered the game’s NPCs also love sleep. The user – h8reditLVvoat – posted a video showing them ringing the bell in Rhodes during the quaint hours of the night. While the bell rings, NPCs can be heard shouting their disapproval, demanding the player shut up so they can get back to sleep.
If you ring the bell in Rhodes a few times late at night the locals get angry. from reddeadredemption
The video has received reactions from other members of Reddit’s Red Dead Redemption community. One commenter responded thusly, “Ha wow. This game is insane.. I didn’t even know you could ring that bell let alone make people angry as they are trying to sleep. Damn NPCs trying to get some shut eye.” Another commenter noted they rang the same bell once during the day, prompting a vandalism charge. Rather than use a tomahawk like the poster’s video indicates, this person used a throwing knife.
Red Dead Redemption 2 thrusts players into the same kind of sandbox world as Grand Theft Auto Online, except its mechanics are a bit more realistic and less of an afront to physics compared to Grand Theft Auto. From hidden secrets to intricate character interactions, Rockstar’s latest release immerses players in a gritty Western experience. Red Dead Redemption 2 is arguably the finest example of Rockstar storytelling, with lovable characters who navigate the treacherous world of love, hate, comradery, betrayal, and revenge. Red Dead Redemption 2 exemplifies the idea that even outlaws have redeeming qualities, and that just because someone breaks the law doesn’t mean they don’t have some sense of responsibility or altruistic tendencies in some regard.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
