Few things beat saddling up on a horse and riding off into the sunset in Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar Games' Wild West sequel is packed to the brim with gorgeous scenery, but accessing it all can be a bit of a pain given the size of the game's map. As a result, players will need horses in order to travel around the various landscapes. Much like cowpokes occupying Red Dead Redemption 2, however, not all horses are created equal. Which means players will have to search far and wide to get the best ones in the game.
At least, players would have to do that or spend exorbitant amounts of in-game cash – or use Red Dead Redemption 2's money glitch – if they didn't know about a hidden spot that randomly spawns every single horse in the game. Yes, top-tier steeds are included. Before players commit to nabbing these horses though, it should be noted that taking them is technically stealing. Evidently, this can alert the local authorities and get the thieved mode of transport killed for anyone not careful enough. Still, if they manage to get away from the area and stable one of these horses, then it'll be there's to keep without any of the hassle of securing these majestic creatures legally.
To kick things off, (via Marcass 2021) players need to make sure that they've reached chapter 2 of the game's story. Provided eager horse-owners have reached this place in the narrative, users need to gallop over to the a location just North of Saint Denis where they'll encounter a pair of houses. Between these domiciles are a couple of horses near a shed, and while they may not be impressive at a glance, this spawning area is the important part for players. Here's a look at this section of the map where the horses can be found:
As it turns out, this one section of the game will pull spawns from every horse found within Red Dead Redemption 2. This includes stable purchases and rare wild horses, meaning that anything can show up in this area. So, if the horse that a player is looking for doesn't appear to be present, simply walk away from the area, wait approximately 30 seconds for the spawns to shuffle, and then head back to see what the horse lottery has to offer.
Now, it's important to note that no horses will spawn between the in-game hours of 7 pm and 8 am, but players in the area can skip ahead in time by visiting a nearby inn to catch some z's or settling down at a camp fire until morning. If players keep checking back then, in time, they'll be the proud owners of some of the most valuable horses found in Red Dead Redemption 2.
