The first aspect of dual-wielding weapons in Red Dead Redemption 2 is knowing which guns are capable of being dual-wielded. The game provides a select amount of weaponry that fits the criteria to be able to dual-wield. Guns that are capable of being utilized in this fashioned, are pistols, revolvers, and small sawed-off shotguns.

After understanding which weapons can be dual-wielded, here's how to actually implement the system into your gameplay. First, players will need to have unlocked a second holster for their small arms weaponry. This is accomplished after beating the "Complete Blessed Are The Meek?" quest. After doing so you will receive the second holster opening the possibility to don two weapons.

After receiving the second holster players will need to place the two weapons they wish to dual wield in the top section of the weapon wheel. You will notice this segment has two arrows pointing outwards, indicating that the weapons you chose will be dual-wielded. When you wish to use these weapons simply activate the weapon wheel, head to the aforementioned segment, and enjoy your awesome new combat mechanic.
