Every cheat in Red Dead Redemption 2 has finally been found and life in the Old West of Rockstar Games' open world shooter has just gotten a little easier. In classic Rockstar style, the latest chapter in the Red Dead franchise has some cleverly hidden cheats to help those cowboys who happen to be a little down on their luck.

The sequel to 2010's award-winning Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 charts a  period of time before the original game, during the rise of the infamous Dutch van der Linde gang. Alongside Easter eggs like ghost trains, UFOs, and even Bigfoot, developers have also hidden a series of helpful cheats in plain sight. While it's still possible to complete the game without using a single cheat in Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar has offered up plenty of lifelines for struggling players.

There are 37 cheat slots in Red Dead Redemption 2 and RDR2.org has compiled them in a handy list for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers. The cheat menu is activated by pausing Red Dead Redemption 2, entering the Settings menu, and pressing either the triangle (PS4) or Y (Xbox) button. Players can then select a cheat they've previously used or enter a new one by pressing triangle or Y button again. Gamers might notice that some of the cheats refer to a specific newspaper, given that certain codes require players to buy various newspapers that are unlocked as they progress throughout the game. Gamers should also keep in mind that there is a warning that using a cheat code means players can't save single player progress or collect Trophies and Achievements.

Ultimately, cheats are just a bit of fun without affecting Red Dead Redemption 2 too much. If Arthur Morgan is low on funds or struggling with the law, the cheats can offer a handy Get Out of Jail Free card. On the other hand, decreasing his honor can make gameplay a bit trickier. Either way, it's up to the individual to decide how often they choose to use the cheats - if at all. Rockstar dangled the temptation of cheats in front of everyone's faces, but they left it to the experts to discover them all.

Tracking down all of Red Dead Redemption 2's cheats has become a mission in and of itself since the title's release on October 26. And, though the game has been out for decent amount of time now, it still continues to surprise fans. Along with the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 Online, a possible PC release, and massive areas of the game that tease something new, there is still plenty for players to do (with or without cheating) in the dusty plains of Red Dead Redemption 2.
