Rockstar officially announced the upcoming update Red Dead Online: Blood Money, and with it comes a slew of new content. The world of RDO has steadily expanded since its rocky launch, and new features like Player Roles and seasonal events have helped turn the western frontier into a more enjoyable experience. Rockstar continues to tweak its formula with content, searching for the proper flow for the game, and it's doing so again with the season passes in Blood Money.

Season Passes are nothing new as Red Dead Online previously featured various Outlaw Passes, but the nature of the passes continually varied, with some passes having 70, 80, or 100 ranks and costing various amounts of gold bars - all while having different lengths. The content of the season passes was also rather perplexing. With beneficial things like the Fast Travel from Wildnerness Tent ability to frustrating and disappointing outfits some RDO players missed, it seemed to be a lot of trial and error. With Red Dead Online: Blood Money, Rockstar introduces a more formulaic approach, dubbed the Quick Draw Club, with four sequential passes with the same cost and ranks, and almost uniform lengths.

With the new Quick Draw Club, Rockstar is taking what it calls a "rapid-fire" approach to new season passes, shortening the length of each down to only a month and including just 25 ranks. These changes will encourage players to return month after month through increased rewards with each consecutive pass players complete. This also makes it so people will need to play regularly throughout the Red Dead Online: Blood Money event instead of just powering through in a single month to complete an entire three-month season pass. The Quick Draw Club will offer players an array of unique outfits and rewards to help with RDO's new Crimes & Opportunities missions.

Everything To Know About RDO's Quick Draw Club

Quick Draw Club No. 1 releases on July 13, 2021, with the new Red Dead Online: Blood Money update and will run until August 9th. Along with all the other battle passes, it will cost 25 gold bars to unlock and will reward players with the 25 gold bars back if they complete the full pass within the twenty-eight days. The remaining passes will release on August 10, September 7, and October 5, with each pass running the same twenty-eight-day length except for Quick Draw Club No. 4. The fourth pass will stop just shorter than the first three to allow for the release of Halloween Pass No. 2, which players who purchase all four Quick Draw Club passes will get for free.

As with the previous Outlaw Club passes, players will have the opportunity to unlock various stylish outfits, most notably that of the infamous Dutch van der Linde himself, along with weapon variants, holsters, accessories, and more. Thus far, there is no information on anything in the passes relating to Roles as in previous passes. Also, while Rockstar stated completing each pass consecutively will earn additional perks and that the passes will include things to help players on their Crimes & Opportunities work, it has yet to specify what any of those things will be.

Rockstar did state that more news is to come regarding Blood Money. So, those things may get clarified before the July 13 launch, and if not, players won't have to wait long before they can see for themselves. Rockstar is clearly working to give players consistent rewards for their Red Dead Online adventures with this new rapid-fire approach, and it will be interesting to see how this approach influences future passes.
