Whitney Rose from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is opening up about the difference between Jen Shah and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Erika Jayne's legal woes. Season 2 of the new Bravo series will not only address Jen's money fraud allegations but will also show her arrest that took place in the middle of filming. In the first couple of minutes of the season 2 premiere, Whitney is the one who found the news article confirming their costar, Jen, had been arrested for alleged money laundering and fraud.

Much like everyone else in the cast, Whitney was completely shocked to hear about Jen's alleged legal troubles. While they have never had a close friendship, Whitney never would have guessed that Jen was running the alleged money scam. However, judging by the extended trailer, viewers will get to see the group navigating through this issue and how the women feel about Jen now that she may have a criminal charge against her.

In a recent interview with Page Six, the 34-year-old was compared how her castmates are handling Jen's arrest for alleged fraud to how the cast of RHOBH is handling Erika's legal issues. "In Beverly Hills, the biggest difference is Erika’s husband is the one being accused," Whitney, who saw fear in Jen's eyes, told the publication. "Jen Shah, the ‘Housewife,’ is being accused [...] While there’s a lot of similarities, it’s different." While the two Bravo shows are dealing with two different situations, Whitney is watching the women of RHOBH's social media accounts to see how they are addressing the fans as more information is revealed on TV.

The skincare creator noticed how Lisa Rinna and some of the other women were asking their fans to "please stop sending me hate messages and death threats," which alarmed her. Whitney described how she and her castmates went through several emotions after finding out about Jen's legal woes. At first, it was hard to process, which left Whitney, who called Jen the fakest housewife, questioning how this will affect herself and her family. While it has been difficult for Whitney and the rest of the cast to digest, she knows they are in an ensemble cast and did her best to show up the best way she knew how for the show. So far, in RHOSLC, Jen has yet to find out about her potential charges, while on RHOBH, Erika is already in the thick of her legal problems.

The biggest difference between Jen and Erika's legal issues is Jen was the one at the forefront of them. Erika wasn't out there embezzling the money herself; Tom, who owes $101 million, and his firm were the ones stealing settlement funds. As for Jen, she was in charge of the whole telemarketing scheme alongside her sidekick, Stuart Smith.
