The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa has confirmed that Villa Blanca will be staying closed. The mother of two was left saddened that she would have to say goodbye to her pride and joy.

Lisa Vanderpump helped make The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills a household name and shined while on the hit franchise since its launch in 2010. During 2019, however, the restaurant owner and former actress abruptly decided she would be leaving the much-loved show behind after numerous fallouts with the rest of the women. The fan-favorite was known for her over-the-top mansion that looked like Barbie’s Dream House and her tiny dogs she loved like children. Villa Blanca was often featured on the franchise as a meeting place for the women who lunched. Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant Villa Blanca has closed. The restaurant from Vanderpump Rules went into financial trouble after it lost a sexual discrimination case a few years ago. Villa Blanca is now boarded up with a handwritten note taped to the door, indicating the restaurant is closed — for good.

The queen of pink has finally spoken up regarding the news about her beloved restaurant. The reality star spoke with the Daily Mail, saying that the restaurant in Beverly Hills would in fact be closing after 12 years but has hopes to reopen in a new location after the pandemic.  The reality star explained that while there were many articles over the past week that were untrue the couple had indeed decided to close Villa Blanca’s doors for good. According to Vanderpump, their 12-year lease was expiring and the landlord had not been willing to renegotiate their rent. The landlord had decided to increase their monthly rent, significantly saying, "If the landlord had been willing to renegotiate and the lease wasn’t ending, we would have reopened." But thanks to the worldwide pandemic the situation was beyond the couple’s control.

Vanderpump revealed that she was saddened to have to say goodbye to the restaurant’s current location. The business owner said that she had employed hundreds of Los Angeles natives and was a devastating time for them. Trying to look ahead, Vanderpump made it clear that she and her husband, Ken Todd, would be focusing on reopening their other locations, Pump, SUR, TOM TOM, and Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in Las Vegas.

Even though Vanderpump made it clear that the restaurant was closing due to the lease issues fans still had questions regarding the numerous lawsuits filed against the couple. The Bravo personality did not go into detail about the claims that she did not pay workers or discriminated against anyone. Viewers also questioned why they put a note upon the door claiming that it was undergoing a new paint job. Fans will just have to wait and see if the entrepreneur can get the restaurant back on its feet.
