Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling is upset with Bravo for never being asked to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She spoke about her co-star Denise Richards, who is a housewife on the show, and she's wondering why the invitation wasn't extended to her.

Spelling is known for her work as an actress, television personality, and author. She is best known for her role as Donna Martin on Beverly Hills 90210As an author, her biography topped New York Time's Bestseller list back in 2009, and she is married to actor Dean McDermott, with whom she has 5 children. Spelling and family are no stranger to reality TV as they were on the Oxygen for their show called Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood that ran from 2007-2012 for a total of 6 seasons. There was briefly Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings which ran for one season back in 2011.

Spelling and her Beverly Hills 90210 co-star Jennie Garth were guests on SiriusXM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show, where they came to talk about the quasi-reboot for Beverly Hills 90210The conversation turned to co-star Denise, who also happens to be apart of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. When McCarthy asked Spelling if she had ever approached to be a housewife, she said, "They have never asked me, Jenny, and it actually makes me really sad."

She went on to explain why she would make a good housewife, saying, "I was born in Beverly Hills, so I have one thing going for me." As Spelling was born in the entertainment industry, as her dad was a Hollywood producer and her mother a theater producer. She went on to explain why she would be an ideal housewife, pointing out that she's "married with a lot of kids" and surrounded by drama. When she turned to her co-star Garth and asked her, "Can you imagine if you'd done that show?" Garth responded by saying, "You would have been so mad."

As disappointing as it might be for Spelling to miss out on joining the Real Housewives cast - especially when a former 90210 co-star and Beverly Hills neighbor has just been brought aboard - she's getting a second wind in La La Land with the upcoming 90210 series. There's no telling if it'll bring half as much drama as the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but that's not to say it won't open the door for other opportunities down the road. That said, she's right in saying she would be an ideal choice, given her background, status, and location.
