An attorney is warning about the "horrible outcome" that Jen Shah might face before her return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Recently, Jen has been in hot water after being charged with felony fraud and money laundering over her alleged involvement in a nationwide telemarketing scheme. If found guilty, Jen could face upwards of 20 to 30 years in prison. As she heads back and forth to court to plead her case, one lawyer overseeing another housewife-related legal case is weighing in on Jen's possible fate.

The Real Housewives universe was shocked when Jen Shah was not only arrested but also taken into police custody while filming a scene for RHOSLC season 2. While she had managed to rub many the wrong way in the show's first season, no one imagined that she was possibly involved in illegal activity behind the scenes. However, she's been accused of selling shady lead lists that targeted unsuspecting victims to solicit services that they never received. Jen and her assistant Stuart Smith are allegedly the masterminds in this alleged plot. While she managed to make it through filming the rest of season 2, she did so while battling serious felony charges that could put her behind bars for decades.

As Jen Shah moves forward with her legal case, a lawyer is issuing out a warning to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star. Attorney Ronald Richards, who is currently investigating the bankruptcy proceedings against Tom Girardi and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, weighed in on Jen's case. “I think she’s on a collision course for a horrible, horrible outcome,” Ronald said during an appearance on Juicy Scoop. The lawyer went on to explain why Jen facing charges from the Southern District of New York could lead to the worst possible fate for the mother of two. "You’re up against prosecutors that are so much better than anybody you’re going to hire and they’re treated with the highest level of respect by the judges in that district," Ronald shared.

The attorney also noted that Jen scaled back her legal team and went from a powerhouse attorney in Washington DC to a "less expensive" lawyer, which probably had to do with her financial woes. After being charged, Jen was banned from leaving the state of Utah and had her assets frozen. She was also prevented from using credit cards and banned from opening lines of credit without permission. Additionally, she was put on a spending freeze and not allowed to make purchases over $10k unless they are for legal matters. Ronald warns that Jen "could be looking at 90 to 120 months in this case, a crippling sentence" due to her being "at the top of the food chain" in the government case.

Furthermore, Ronald remarked on how other defendants who had the same charges as Jen faced hefty sentences, and how Jen Shah could be looking at a similar outcome. This comes ahead of her return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, where insiders say she did not hold back when addressing her serious legal issues on the show. Her co-stars are reportedly shocked by Jen's current circumstances and are being as supportive as they can while treading lightly around Jen's possible outcome.
