Jen Shah from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is under fire once again for her erratic behavior. However, this time around, it's not for her actions on the show. She is being called out by fans after leaked audio revealed her poor treatment of her Shah Squad and the fashion designer who made her reunion show dress.
After just one season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Jen was deemed one of the most controversial cast members. She managed to be at the center of the drama after tangling with every member of the cast. She was at odds with Mary Cosby when she started the show, and she managed to make an enemy out of every cast member by the season's end, although Whitney Rose says she's nicer off-camera. During the reunion show, Jen defended herself against claims of being aggressive and said she found it offensive as a woman of color, but the leaked audio seems to show that she can be harsh when the cameras aren't filming her.
It turns out that the wrath that Jen made the other housewives feel was nothing compared to how she treats her employees. Two leaked audio files of the Bravo star were shared by RealityVonTease2, where she can be heard talking down to her staff. She used foul language towards them. "Shut the fu*k up,” she shouted at one person, before calling out a Shah Squad member who possibly lives with her.
She yelled, “Get your sh*t bi*ch I don’t care…you have a fu**ing place to lay your fu**ing head because you’re in my house. You don’t be disrespectful." In another audio clip, Jen belittles her dress designer Koa Johnson. “How many fu**ing hands do you need," she shouts at the JXA designer, adding, "You got four fu**ing [people]….how many more people do you need to do one fu**ing thing? One thing!” She goes on to threaten the designer saying, “I’m gonna beat the sh*t outta you in like two seconds.”
Once the audio files surfaced on social media, many viewers took to Reddit to blast Jen for her harsh treatment of her team. "We need to talk about Jen Shah and how her recent actions have crossed a line," the Redditor titled the thread. They went on to note how Jen's team acted as though her nasty behavior was the "norm." They continued, "This is where Jen goes from being dysfunctional and messy on TV to legitimate irredeemable for me. It's an abuse of power. It's abusive behavior. It's wrong," and most fans of the show agreed.
There were others who suggested that the Bravo star seek professional help. On The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, she has opened up about her mental health issues and how much she leans on her husband, as he helps her to feel more emotionally stable. Fans have called out Coach Shah for treating his wife like a student he instructs, rather than an adult and mother of two. However, Jen's controversial actions only prove how perfect she is as a housewife.
