With The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City nearing the end of its premiere season, fans' opinions on the cast are rolling in. Following the latest episode of the newest franchise, many viewers are calling out the unruly behavior of the show's stars. Housewives fans were ecstatic to welcome a new franchise to the bunch amid the pandemic.

RHOSLC premiered last November, to much praise from viewers looking for a new set of housewives with new juicy drama. From the start, cast members like Jen Shah and Mary Crosby stood out due to Jen's outspoken personality and Mary's unconventional arranged marriage to her step-grandfather. The other cast members, Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, and Whitney Rose, added just the right amount of family drama and sass to provide a well-balanced season of high and low moments. Most recently, it was confirmed that the show has been greenlit for season two. Now, as fans prepare to get more familiar with the ladies, some fans are already tired of the cast's mean girl behavior.

Following last week's episode that followed the ladies on their trip to Las Vegas, a Reddit thread surfaced that called the housewives "Passive aggressive." In the thread, a fan vented their frustration over the ladies' reasoning for even going to Sin City. "What are these women even about in this franchise?" one Redditor asked. "Sneaking to Vegas on your own to stick it to someone who really, if we’re being honest, didn’t even do anything THAT bad (on a RH scale)." The fan went on to call out Jen after she "hijacks the activity by whisking Heather away." The viewer went on to call the new cast "annoying as s**t."  Not to mention, the upset viewer was "only halfway through the episode." According to the frustrated fan, "Everyone but Heather is annoying on this show, but I’m not quitter. I’ll watch the whole season. Probably because I hate myself a little hahahah."

Other fans hopped in the comments and voiced their opinions of the ladies' treatment toward each other. "Lisa ignoring Whitney's call but calling Meredith 4 second[s] later. Seems so childish," said one viewer. "Like, actual literal high school mean girl bs," added another. Others continued to bash Meredith and Lisa for their seemingly posh demeanor towards the other ladies. "Lisa and Meredith think they're better than everyone else. It's exhausting," said one user. Though the opinions were harsh, it's evident that fans are invested, whether they like the cast or not.

This points to why the show was confirmed for season two, despite early reports of low ratings. So far, it hasn't been said if all the cast will be returning. But, at least the viewers will be back to judge and vent their likes and dislikes.
