Why have The Real Housewives of Potomac's Dr. Wendy Osefo’s massive debts been exposed. A tattletale has come forward to throw shade on the newest housewife.

Wendy has stepped on the scene as one of the best rookie housewives in recent times. Not only is she a professor at Johns Hopkins University, but she also is a go-to face for political media. The Nigerian is a doctor who makes time to raise her three young children. She has wasted no time in letting her co-stars know where she stands on subjects like Karen Huger and the fight between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Basset.

Fans watched on Sunday’s all-new episode as the women gathered to speak with Monique about how she acted at the barn. Wendy was one of the women who felt there was no excuse for how the mother had acted. Wendy went as far as to question if she should even continue to be a part of the franchise. All About The Tea literally spilled the tea on Wendy’s finances recently leaving fans bewildered at her lifestyle.

Obviously, the freshman should have been made aware that once she signed her contract her public and private information was up for grabs. The outlet revealed that not only was Wendy’s Nigerian family cursed they were also shunned by the villagers. Evidently, an in-law of Wendy’s reached out to the outlet after the reality star revealed she was not on good terms with her mother-in-law. The insider revealed that “Wendy’s family is the Western equivalent of the ‘wrong side of the tracks.” Going on to say, “Her family and their ancestors have had bad reputations because of evils stemming from past generations. They are ‘osu,’ essentially cursed.”

The source explained that a cursed family is often avoided by non-cursed people, saying, “Traditionally, when a couple decides to get married, both sides must trace back their lineage to ensure that they are from good stock, and not osu-cursed. Proceeding with a marriage despite the discovery of osu lineage is not merely marrying down, but effectively destroying your family, their reputation, and limiting the social mobility of any future children.” Fans will also recall that Wendy’s mother was said to be a chief but again the source has countered the claim explaining that, “Wendy’s mom is a chieftain, but that doesn’t matter if you’re a chieftain from an outcasted group. Wendy’s caste is an outcasted Nigerian ethnic group — the lowest caste.” The outlet also reported that Wendy is in dire straights and needs the Bravo paycheck even though on the recent episode she talked about quitting her teaching job. The source explained that the mother was one of the lowest-paid professors at the university. The informer also added that public records showed that Wendy and Eddie Osefo bought a home nowhere near Potomac in June of 2019 for $695,000 but had to fiancé just about all of it. The reason is that the couple has over $1.5 million in student loan debt.

While the informer explained that Eddie is also in the same position fans were a bit taken aback that the housewife would lie about how successful she truly is. But there can also be a case argued for Wendy. Even though she may be in debt just like more than half of the students in the United States does not in any way mean she did not ear her four degrees. Debt or no debt she is still a highly educated woman who is making it work.
