Karen Huger had a rough The Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 with her husband Ray Huger, but the couple finally got back on track due to quarantine. Last season, Karen and Ray weren't quite sure they would make it through the whole season as a married couple. At one point, Ray wasn't even sure if he was still in love with his wife of more than 20 years. Karen felt hurt by Ray but stuck it out for the sake of their marriage.

By the end of the season, Karen and Ray were still working on their marriage. However, they both knew that they still wanted to be together. During the reunion episodes, Ray announced plans to renew his vows with Karen on their 25th wedding anniversary. Karen was taken by surprise and immediately planted a kiss on Ray. Now that The Real Housewives of Potomac season six is underway, it seems like fans will get to see Karen and Ray starting to plan their vows for a second time.

During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show earlier this month, the 58-year-old spoke about her upcoming vow renewal and quarantining with Ray (via The Wendy Williams Show). "Stay tuned because that's a whole level of drama getting Ray down the aisle," Karen teased to Wendy, confirming the vow renewal will be taking place soon. However, the Grand Dame did have to compromise with Ray when planning the renewal, as Ray isn't fond of all the glitz and glam. As for how their marriage is going, the La’Dame perfume entrepreneur Karen admitted that they are doing better since last season, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. "The pandemic has been really good on Ray and I," she began.

"We went through a lot last year, but what it did was it forced us to have conversations that we otherwise wouldn't have the time to have," the reality star said of quarantine with her hubby. "He's all mine good, bad, indifferent."Other than quarantine helping to fix their relationship, Karen also revealed that he told their therapist he "thinks" he loves her. She said this motivated her to work harder on their marriage. "That hurt me more than anything physically he could have said about me, so that made me dig in deep and fight for our marriage," she admitted. However, it seems fans will have to wait until next season to see Karen (who often clashes with Gizelle Bryant) and Ray renew their vows. This should happen in September.

Even though fans won't see Karen and Ray renew their vows on this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, it's nice to know these two are happy in their relationship. It seems the quarantine was actually beneficial for the couple. It forced them to really work on their relationship.
