Karen Huger from The Real Housewives of Potomac is hoping her cast mate Candiace Dillard will grow from her season 5 experience.

Since the beginning of the fight between Monique and Candiace, Karen has done her best to remain neutral in the situation. She is good friends with both of the ladies and does not feel the need to completely go against one or the other. In the end, Karen wants the best for both ladies and hopes they can both move on and bury the hatchet some day.

After receiving support from the other ladies of the Potomac cast, Candiace took issue with Karen's refusal to fully back her up. "You can say whatever it is you need to say to smooth it over, but I’m looking at your actions,” the 34-year-old said in a recent interview with Page Six. “As they say, actions speak louder than words. Karen’s actions from the beginning of this toxic fight and afterwards has been very difficult to peg and trust. I don’t see how we come back from that place.” While Candiace is unsure their friendship could ever be repaired, Karen seems much more optimistic about about the future of their relationship. The 57-year-old understands why Candiace is still affected by the fight and empathizes with her, but believes moving on will be better for the former pageant queen. “Candiace is definitely still in an emotional place as she shares her sincere feelings, that is a tough place to be,” she told the publication. “Moving forward, learning and growing is a healthier option. I do pray she gets there.” Karen hopes Candiace will be able to move on from the hurt she has felt the past year, especially now that Monique has revealed she will not be returning for season 6.

Karen is also looking forward to moving on from her past drama with newcomer, Wendy Osefo. The two had a rocky start to their friendship, but Karen feels Wendy can hold her own as long as she is transparent with the other women. “Wendy is an interesting and intelligent woman, our relationship is evolving and I look forward to see where it goes,” she added. "I have to say honestly each cast member, new or old, has it within themselves to last multiple seasons. It’s up to them how authentic they want to be." Now that Monique has removed herself from the show, Karen is left with Ashley Darby as her only confidant. Karen and Wendy left the reunion on better terms, but her relationship with Candiace is still up in the air.

Will Candiace be able to move on from the betrayal she feels from Karen? Fans will have to wait for season six to find out if these two have buried the hatchet.
