The Real Housewives of Potomac fans were not surprised to hear that Gizelle Bryant lost her cool during the reunion when her relationship was attacked. There is only one more week to the tell-all and even Andy Cohen was shocked at how much drama went down.
The season has come to an end, and fans are ready for the drama that is the reunion tell-all. Gizelle has been the main housewife since season 1. Audiences have watched how the Potomac socialite has balanced her full schedule with being a single mother of three daughters: twins, Angel and Adore, and Grace. Bravo viewers were stunned when they learned she was dating her ex-husband Jamal Bryant. She and Jamal were married from 2002 until her megachurch pastor husband had an affair, and Gizelle ended the marriage in 2009. The entire season showed the lack of involvement on Jamal’s part, and fans were curious if the couple would make it.
The emotionally taxing reunion is about to start, and fans are ready to watch Gizelle lose her cool. According to The Daily Dish, Gizelle felt she “was sitting there very nice and pretty and everybody and their grandmother was coming for me for about eight hours — and then in the last two to three hours, I just lost it.”
The mother of three admitted that the freak out did not look good for her, saying it was a “doozy.” Fans watched the sneak peek as Gizelle was on the receiving end of Karen Huger’s razor-sharp tongue whenever she tried to stand up for herself. The women are no doubt divided thanks to the horrendous fight that took place between Candiace Dillard Bassett and Monique Samuels. Still, each attack became extra personal between the women, leaving many to wonder how they will bounce back from all the drama.
The season ended with a bang, thanks to the husbands getting involved. Once again, Michael Darby is at the center of a heated discussion with Chris Bassett, and for some unknown reason, Michael tried to act macho and put Chris in his place. The party scene showed Michael becoming more and more intoxicated as he gushed about raising baby Dean. He eventually was cornered in the hallway after being screamed out by his wife, proving old white men can act any way they wish with little to no consequences. Fans will need to tune in to the reunion to see how it all plays out.
