Candiace Dillard believes she is Andy Cohen's least favorite cast member on The Real Housewives of Potomac and thinks his response to her fight with Monique Samuels proves it. Candiace recently dropped hints of having an issue with the show's executive producer amid the RHOP season 6 reunion. After getting physically attacked last season and involved in a big chunk of the season 6 drama, Candiace is under fire once again. The controversial housewife is convinced Andy is among the riders on the Candiace hate train.
Season 5 featured one of the most explosive physical showdowns in housewives history. Candiace and Monique came to blows after a season of tossing out verbal jabs at each other. While Monique was the one to start the fight, many viewers felt that Candiace was also at fault for instigating the fight with her scathing remarks. With Monique leaving the show, Candiace found herself a new enemy in season 6 in newcomer Mia Thornton. They too almost came to blows after Candiace threw a salad at Mia and spit out "yo mama" jokes. During the season 6 reunion, Andy asked Candiace if she realizes her mouth gets her into a lot of trouble.
However, it looks like Candiace has more issues with Andy and his alleged dislike for her. The "Drive Back" singer has been under the impression that Andy never cared about her fight with Monique because he never called to check on her. "Do you know Andy never, ever reached out to me, ever?" Candiace asked Dave in the tell-all book Not All Diamonds and Rosé. "I even reached out to Andy's assistant and asked for him to call me. Nothing. That’s f**ked up." While Candiace noted all of the Housewives that Andy has contacted on a consistent basis, she feels like being physically assaulted is grounds for the EP to make time to squeeze her into his busy schedule. "But how many of them were physically attacked on camera by their costar?," Candiace asked.
She went on to accuse Andy of gaining fame and fortune off of the "backs" of the Housewives who are the ones living the real-life drama. "You just don't give a f**k about us and you can't tell me that you do," she quipped. "And when I saw him, I did say it to his face." It might be why Candiace tends to get the most heat from Andy according to viewers. Many have accused Andy of going harder on Candiace than he does with the other housewives. Most recently, Candiace even retweeted a fan while noting the "propaganda" Andy promotes against her. To make matters worse for Candiace, Andy hasn't denied that he would like for Monique to return to the show.
Candiace continues to have issues within the cast with those who still have friendships with Monique and showed more loyalty to her during their messy fallout. According to Andy, however, he never received word that she wanted to speak to him and doesn't recall her saying anything about it to him personally. "If she'd told me to my face that I didn't give a f**k about her, I would certainly remember that. I don't," Andy replied. The tension between Candiace and Andy continues as The Real Housewives of Potomac season 6 ends and moves towards season 7. Candiace will most likely return. Hopefully, she and Andy can work out their differences in the event she finds herself in another big showdown next season.
