Ashley Darby made a one-night only appearance on The Real Housewives of Potomac and set the house ablaze when she came for Wendy Osefo and the rumors about her husband, Eddie, cheating. Wendy did not take the accusations well and went off on every woman in the room.
Wendy has been under a microscope this season due to her change in personality and extreme makeover. During her freshman season on The Real Housewives of Potomac, fans met Wendy as a Johns Hopkins professor with four degrees. But the newest season of the Bravo franchise is showing off Wendy in a whole new light. She had been wearing revealing outfits, and her co-stars feel like something else is going on behind the scenes.
During the cast trip to Williamsburg, Virginia, the women have had a chance to psychoanalyze Wendy's new attitude. Naturally, Gizelle Bryant brought up a blog that claimed Eddie was stepping out on his wife. Karen Huger made it known that everyone had read the articles, but no one had spoken on the subject except for Gizelle. Ashley, who just gave birth three weeks ago, decided to bring up the rumbling to Wendy. She said Gizelle told her how there is this fabricated article about Eddie having an affair, saying, "This has been discussed, if that’s one of the reasons why you are stepping into being more like sexual, why you and Eddie are more free, because you’re showing people there obviously is no truth to that."
Ashley's confrontation did not go down well. Wendy immediately became defensive. Gizelle felt that she had done nothing wrong, and Wendy's anger was unwarranted. But the professor just continued to call the housewife out, even poking holes in her relationship with Jamal Bryant. Wendy made sure to shut down the conversation calling the rumor a lie.
Wendy's new look has not gone unnoticed, but the mother of three claims it was just time for a mommy makeover. The Nigerian is finally feeling good in her own skin after years of child-rearing, and it feels like some of her castmates are trying to take that joy away from her. During the sneak peek of next week's episode, it looks like Wendy may have chosen to leave the girls' trip early only to have it out with the women when they got back to Potomac. One thing is for sure: Wendy is ready, willing, and able to defend her husband all season long.
