Ashley Darby from The Real Housewives of Potomac took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal the sex of her baby with the help of her husband, Michael Darby.
The mother of one has been apart of the series since the beginning alongside Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon and Karen Huger. Since joining the show Ashley has welcomed her son, Dean, and now getting ready to welcome her new bundle of joy. She and Michael have been through ups and downs since welcoming baby Dean, but now it seems the couple are getting the hang of being parents, as well as husband and wife.
Ashley revealed she and Michael are expecting their second son together in an Instagram post, People can confirm. The reality star announced the sex by sharing a video of Michael riding his bike around Washington, D.C., before arriving at a blue banner at the end that reads, "It's a boy!" At the banner, Michael was greeted by Ashley and their 1-year-old son with hugs and kisses. "Michael has lived in Washington DC for almost 30 years, but this is a bike ride different than any one he’s taken before." the 32-year-old captioned the post. Ashley announced she was expecting back in September by sharing a video to Instagram of baby Dean wearing a shirt that says, "I'm Gonna Be a Big Brother." The end of the video included that the baby will be arriving in February 2021. Ashley has shared that her son is ready to be a big brother to their little bundle of joy, according to BravoTV. "Baby is really tumbling in there and loving the hugs from big brother Deano." she said in an Instagram post at the time.
The couple welcomed baby Dean together July 2019, sharing exclusive photos with People just three weeks after he as welcomed into the world. Ashley was completely overjoyed to finally welcome her son into the world as having a child is something she has wanted from before she starred on RHOP. When she first welcomed Dean he looked like Ashley, but as the weeks went on Dean began to look more like her husband. "It's so crazy how much he's changed from when he was first born to even the second week," the new mom said of her son at the time. "He's a cutie." After welcoming their first son, allegations of Michael cheating on Ashley began to circulate on RHOP, which really tested the marriage of the couple. Now that they are pregnant with their second child, Michael has been working hard to rebuild their marriage and Ashley's trust. "Michael has been just the most supportive husband over these last few months," she revealed to Andy Cohen on an episode of Watch What Happens Live. "He's really gone out of his way to show me that he's remorseful and wants to rebuild our marriage and just rebuild our trust."
Congratulations to Ashley on the news of another baby boy. Soon baby Dean will have a little brother to play with!
