Shannon Storms Beador is now claiming that her baby gift has been rejected by ex David Beador. She has come a long way since fans last saw her a few seasons ago struggling through a messy divorce. Fans were excited to hear that The Real Housewives of Orange County star sent her ex-husband David Beador a gift in the hope it would extend an olive branch of peace for their family. But she claims that the incident didn't go over smoothly.
The three adults have not been acting their age over the last year as both women have enjoyed talking to the media and jousting one another on social media. Lesley Cook recently called Beador out for not thanking them for their Christmas gift, an Apple Watch. David and Cook became engaged back in January of 2020 and married in October. The two welcomed their baby girl in February 2021.
Beador made it clear when she sat down on Jeff Lewis’ SiriusXM show that her peace offering had been thrown back in her face. Page Six reported that the mother of three told the host that Lesley Cook had declined her gift for their new baby, Anna. But Cook denied the incident and threw shade at the housewife on her Instagram story. Cook has not been one to publically fight, but she took it upon herself to clap back at the false claims saying, “I declined a gift like my husband wrote you a check for $1,400,00.00 like you claimed on an episode. If you did send a gift I’m guessing it was a bunny at this point.”
Bravo nation almost fell off their seats at the reference to Lisa Rinna from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills giving Kim Richards a bunny for her first grandchild. As many know, Richards gave the gift back, unopened during the season seven reunion. Cook didn’t stop there as she continued to mention that she knew some dark secrets about Beador and even accused her of harassment. But after a few hours of respite, Cook returned to her social media to show herself with the gift and opening it. It turned out not to be a bunny but a sweet Madeline doll.
The two women have still never met even after two and half years. Many wonder how much David Beador has to do with the situation. Fans watched The Real Housewives of Orange Country this year as the couple finalized their divorce and payment issues but sensed that there was still some turmoil between the family.
