Ever since she joined the Real Housewives of Orange County in season 11, Kelly Dodd has been shocking viewers with her behavior, and she has had trouble getting along with several cast members. With the recent news that Kelly isn't coming back for season 16, fans are looking back on her five seasons and thinking about the things that she has said and done.

Real Housewives reunions are known for some amazing outfits, along with fights and shouting matches, and, when Kelly is in a scene, she can definitely say some harsh words. During her time on RHOC, Kelly has hurt the other cast members' feelings, and there are some moments that fans can't forget about.

When She Insulted Shannon's Weight

In one memorable scene, Kelly told Shannon to calm down and insulted her weight, saying "maybe you need some hormones or something for your body" and telling her to "keep eating." If the two are supposed to be friends, how could Kelly be so cruel?

This was a tough moment for Shannon, as she felt that she had been dealing with Kelly's harsh words and behavior for years, and she wasn't sure that they could continue their friendship. It was hard not to agree, as no one wants their friend to treat them like this.

When She Made Fun Of Shane

When the cast members were celebrating Eddie's birthday in season 13, Kelly made fun of Emily's husband Shane and called him "a little b*tch," which was one of the meanest things that she has said on RHOC. Emily got understandably upset and didn't understand why Kelly had to insult her husband.

While fans of the Bravo franchise have definitely heard some harsh comments and seen some awful fights over the years, it can still be surprising to see these types of comments being made, especially at a venue like a birthday party. The fact that Kelly could say something so mean about someone's partner, seemingly out of nowhere, makes it hard for fans to be on her side.

When She Fought With Meghan Over Text Messages

In season 12, Kelly was upset that Meghan texted her and asked if she had a partner. Kelly felt that this was unfair, as she said that it was based on gossip and that Meghan hadn't even asked how she was doing or said hello, as she wrote on a blog post for Bravotv.com.

This moment didn't make Kelly look very good, either, as, during the season 12 reunion, Meghan stood up for herself, as she felt she wasn't doing any harm by asking Kelly this question. It was much easier to be on Meghan's side here, as Kelly kept fighting with Meghan over the text messages, and it didn't seem like such a big deal. There have been some epic arguments on the Real Housewives franchise, and this one counts, too.

When She Brought Up David's Infidelity

In season 11, Shannon threw a 1970's party, and fans knew that something big would probably happen, as many fights happen at these events. Kelly brought up the fact that Shannon's now ex-husband David was unfaithful and said, "no wonder why you cheated on your wife."

The other cast members looked just as shocked as fans felt. This was a totally harsh thing for her to say, and it's hard for Kelly to live this down, as no one would agree that it was okay for her to bring up such a tough moment in Shannon and David's marriage.

When She Talked About Tamra Not Having Her Children In Ireland

In season 11, the RHOC cast members went on a trip to Ireland that turned out to be incredibly difficult. Kelly mentioned that Tamra didn't have her kids living with her, and Shannon said that Kelly said, "no wonder her daughter doesn't talk to her."

This was a big moment in the series, as Tamra's situation with her ex-husband Simon was so painful that it was hard to discuss, and Kelly proved that she could be fairly ruthless and just say anything that she was thinking, no matter who it hurt.

When She Insulted Shannon's Hair Extensions

As for moments that Kelly won't live down, she behaved badly in a season 14 scene when the cast members went out dancing. Kelly walked over to Shannon, Vicki, and Tamra, and Kelly said that Shannon's hair didn't look good.

She said that, at Shannon's age, she should get a short haircut and she shouldn't be wearing extensions. This seemed to come out of nowhere, and it was strange to hear Kelly comment on her supposed friend's hair, as this didn't have anything to do with her.

When She Said Braunwyn Didn't Really Have A Drinking Problem

In season 15 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Braunwyn shared that she was an alcoholic and her storyline that season included her going to meetings. At the reunion, Kelly said, "That's sad for your kids" and continued, "Your alcoholism was all for a story." When Bronwyn asked if Kelly considered her a "fake alcoholic," Kelly agreed.

Braunwyn responded that it was harmful to Kelly to make these comments, as people watching could have their own struggles, and fans couldn't support Kelly here, either, as she wasn't being compassionate.

When She Called Vicki A Pig

In season 14, the cast members went on another fabulous vacation that included drama. Kelly said her ex-husband texted her and said, "Michael says he's got a lot of dirt on you and that your engagement will explode in two seconds." Vicki said, "you're a terrible person, Kelly, can't you be happy for me?"

Kelly called Vicki a "pig" with a swear word thrown in, too, and Tamra said it wasn't nice of Kelly to act this way, which was exactly what fans were thinking. This was a tough moment to watch, as it seemed very negative and mean-spirited. Viewers didn't always love Vicki on Real Housewives, but she was in the right here.

When She Wouldn't Tell Vicki She Was Sorry

Kelly had many fights with the other cast members in season 14, and, while she apologized to Tamra, Tamra said that Kelly and Vicki should have a "fresh start." Kelly wouldn't say that she was sorry and seemed to stand behind all of the arguments that she and Vicki had.

Fans of the Real Housewives franchise are used to seeing the fight/apology cycle among many of the stars since there are many long-term friendships that see conflict and then healing. So, it was too bad that Kelly couldn't say that she was sorry for hurting Vicki.

When She Made Her COVID-19 Comment

Kelly is no longer on RHOC, and there has been a huge backlash to some of the comments that she has made. As mentioned by People, Kelly offended a lot of people when she said of COVID-19, "is it God's way of thinning the herd?"

This was a horrible thing to hear, especially if anyone has lost a loved one to this virus, and it seems impossible for Kelly to live this comment down. She hurt a lot of people's feelings when she said this, and it definitely wasn't necessary. There are many former cast members who fans forget about, and because of the drama surrounding her, Kelly will always be memorable.
