Kelly Dodd wants to clarify her jab at Andy Cohen during The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion on Wednesday. When she said he was "anti-American," she was not trying to make a political statement. Instead, she was trying to make a point about haters on social media.

Part one of the RHOC reunion started off with a bang on Thursday night. Even though most of the women were ganging up on Braunwyn Windham-Burke throughout the episode, calling her fake and a narcissist, Kelly was getting the most heat from Andy. He wasn't calling her out for what she did during the season, but what she has been saying on social media. Kelly has always been a polarizing character on RHOC, but this year she has taken it way too far. From questioning masks to Braunwyn's alcoholism, Kelly has been quite the mess online.

During an exclusive interview with E! Online, the 45-year-old spoke out to clarify what she meant when she called reunion host, Andy Cohen, "anti-American." The conversation started when Andy brought up Kelly's past controversial remarks regarding the coronavirus pandemic. Her past remarks include questioning the validity of masks and calling the virus "God's way of thinning the herd." Andy added how he has since been getting messages from fans on social media about how uneducated Kelly is and that she's "behaving like a moron." Kelly fired back saying she has been getting negative messages about Andy as well, calling him anti-American. Andy was shocked asking if she said that because he does not like former president, Donald Trump, to which she replied, "Yeah." Kelly clarified in her interview with E! that she did not mean to make the conversation political and only wanted to make a point about social media haters.

"I'm a Libertarian, I didn't vote for Trump. I'm not a Trumper at all," Kelly revealed during the interview. "My point with Andy was that you can always find negative comments on social media. Some people with zero posts and zero followers comment, but the vast majority of comments about me are positive." Kelly's point was to explain to Andy how if you go looking for negative comments about someone, you can find them. She then added, "We all get things that are negative comments. And my point was that just because people come to me and say he's anti-American doesn't mean he is." While Kelly does not regret calling Andy anti-American, she knows he is not. Her point was to prove that you cannot believe all the negative comments out there online.

Kelly tried to explain the jab she made at Andy was not something she said, but what some viewers have said to her about him. Even though Kelly meant no malice and was only trying to prove a point, she dug herself into another hole once again.
