The Real Housewives of Orange County's Elizabeth Vargas recently claimed that she receives $31,000 a month in spousal support. She and her billionaire ex-husband Bernt Bodal divorced in 2017.

It was recently reported that the newest member of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, makes $31,000 a month in spousal support. The Sun has reported that since January of 2018, she has been on the receiving end of extremely large alimony payments.
Update: Screen Rant has learned that Elizabeth Lyn Vargas received support up until April 2020, and has a payout left of about $800,000 now. She receives much less and it is at Mr. Bodal's discretion.
The 45-year-old decided to ask for a divorce from the 67-year-old due to irreconcilable differences and made sure to request spousal support in the documents. Bernt tried to demand that the court terminate their ability to award his ex-wife with any money in May of 2017. By January, Bernt was told that his demands would not be honored. In the end, the two agreed on the figure of $31,000 a month for Elizabeth until either party's death, remarriage, or order of the court. At the time of their breakup, the newest Orange County housewife was only making $1,721 a month. According to the outlet at the time of the divorce, Bernt, who is the owner of the American Seafood Group was making $86,955 a month. The outlet also revealed that the alimony includes $11,368.09 for her mortgage payment. She currently lives in her $5 million dollar Newport Beach home. The alimony also included two payments on her Bentley and Range Rover. To add insult to injury, Bernt also must release any bonus and profit distributions he receives. After disclosing the amount, he must give Elizabeth 37% of the amount.
Bravo fans learned that according to Elizabeth her ex-husband got another woman pregnant whilst they were married. The California girl told cameras it felt like a double betrayal because he had told her he did not want children of his own.
