The Real Housewives of Orange County's Elizabeth Lyn Vargas was just let go from the franchise last month. Now, the Newport native is claiming she was given a Bravo contract only a week before being fired.

Elizabeth Lyn Vargas was the new girl on The Real Housewives of Orange County, but sadly, she didn’t leave enough of an impression to be cast for a sophomore season. Viewers were introduced to the Missouri native on the premiere episode of RHOC season 14 at her beach house. She spoke about her divorce from Bernt Bodal, whom she was married to for 17 years. Bravo fans are tired of her constant chatter surrounding her wealth and money. Eventually, fans did learn more about the blonde, but it was too little too late.

While on Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, Elizabeth told listeners that she was shocked she was fired, saying she fully believed she was going back to the show. She revealed her “contract was still in place.” But in the end, she learned a very valuable lesson that everyone is disposable, no matter what your storyline may be.

The former real housewife went on to say that she had heard a week before the formal announcement that she got it. Shortly after, she was contacted by her manager with the bad news. Elizabeth revealed that she got a call from her manager, who was in Mexico, And he's like, just got engaged and I'm like, great. And he goes, and by the way, you didn't get picked up. Sorry.” The network had pulled her contract, even though she alleges she already had one.

Elizabeth went on to say that she could probably do something about the broken contract, but she isn't going to. As most Bravolebrities know, it is best not to mess with the network if they are hoping for a return or friend role. The ex-Real Housewives of Orange County star made it clear that she did not want to ruffle any feathers. Elizabeth was fired from the show, along with Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke, after a poor last season that resulted in extremely low ratings. Now, Bravo has brought back Heather Dubrow in hopes of an improvement.
