Braunwyn Windham-Burke from The Real Housewives of Orange County has opened about her excessive drinking. The mother described to followers about hitting "rock bottom" as an alcoholic.
Windham-Burke was a huge fan of the show before she became a housewife, as she lived most of her life in Laguna Beach - a very popular Orange County spot. She decided to move her seven children and husband back to California from Miami so that she could get back to her roots. Windham-Burke’s freshman season was a success. Fans will recall she made out with Tamra Judge and admitted to fans she had been involved in a threesome with her husband and family friend.
Fans were more than ready to watch the newest season of The Real Housewives of Orange County and got their money’s worth when Windham-Burke admitted to cameras that she was actively taking a break from drinking and revealed she was an alcoholic. The reality star revealed via her Instagram that it was a “transformative year” for her. Check out her post below:
The mother of seven opened up to Emily Simpson about not wanting to feel any of her emotions for so long. She also revealed that at a young age she was handed a warm beer and attributed her issues to the young start. The blonde was known for her over the top partying and ability to throw back her drinks. The housewife shared a picture of her sobriety chips and a healthier picture of herself. In her post, she wrote, “258 days, one day at a time. Thank you to everyone that helped me on my journey so far, @captainsandrayawn for giving me the courage to tell my story, to @evolutionusa for your unwavering support and @tpkelly12 for telling this story as real and honestly as we could. It was fair to say that many Bravo viewers were blindsided by the admission. Windham-Burke has been in the media lately for her marital issues since many believed that the couple was headed for divorce. But the mother of seven made it clear she was still very much in love with her husband and they just had an ever-evolving relationship. Fans are happy that Windham-Burke is getting the help she needs to live a healthier life.
