In the new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, fans finally get to see the completed house that Heather Dubrow and her husband Terry Dubrow started building in 2014. Viewers caught a glimpse of the construction while she was on the show, and fans eagerly awaited the reveal. Unfortunately, Heather left the show in 2017, so RHOC did not get to show its completion. However, after taking a long hiatus, she has returned for RHOC season 16, and she did not disappoint viewers with the grand reveal.

In the first episode, Heather's silhouette was shown against a huge open doorway that revealed an enormous infinity pool. The cameras then panned in on her kitchen, complete with a private chef cooking the family dinner. Later on in the episode, she invited Gina Kirschenheiter and Shannon Beador over for a tour of the house, and viewers got to see her house in more detail. Gina and Shannon’s jaws dropped at the pure extravagance of the sprawling mansion that Heather dubbed "Dubrow Chateau."

Heather is known for her upscale tastes, including her love of fine champagne, which earned her the nickname, “Fancy Pants.” She lives up to that name when it comes to her 22,000-square foot home, which is valued at $21 million. Heather had trouble remembering how many rooms the house has, but during the tour she gave Gina and Shannon, Gina joked that she should have worn sneakers. Some of the luxurious details she showed were the towel-warming cabinets in the bathroom, as well as the refrigerated drawers in the kitchen, and a hidden bathroom that Heather claimed was her favorite.

There are other nice touches, including a button on the wall in Heather’s closet that signals the kitchen to bring her a glass of champagne, and a posh game room. Some other features of the house include a butler’s kitchen, a 24-seat movie theater, a wall display of chilled champagne, and a huge multi-car garage.

Although decorating a house of that magnitude is a gargantuan task, Heather claims that she took care of that job by herself, without relying on decorators. The house is very classy and features custom-made cabinets and chandeliers that were shipped from abroad. A nice personal touch is a huge glass window with an etched family tree, as shown above, featuring birds that represent each of her children.

Chateau Dubrow is by far the most extravagant house ever featured in the Real Housewives franchise. In episode 2, Heather throws a dinner party for her girlfriends, and fans will get to see how they react to her house. While Shannon seemed jealous of Heather’s lifestyle, fans thought Gina’s enthusiasm was endearing. Heather said that the family tends to move every three years, but Terry stated that he will be buried at Chateau Dubrow. Heather from The Real Housewives of Orange County admitted that this was the first house that truly felt like home, so hopefully, fans will get to live vicariously through her for a few more seasons.
