Heather Gay's sister Nancy Meaux appeared briefly in an earlier season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and now alleges her appearance was solely for a storyline as she and Heather have not spoken since. Heather has been under quite a bit of scrutiny since RHOSLC season 3 began airing for possibly being the reason the show not as exciting lately. Heather has also been under fire for defending costar Jen Shah all season despite Jen's impending guilty plea.

Nancy recently commented on an Instagram post in response to Whitney Rose's comment on the same post (as shared by @nofilterwithzack). The post spoke about Whitney attempting to keep her friendship with Heather, while the latter continuously brushed her off and refused to accept Whitney's apology.

Whitney responded, agreeing with the post, and Nancy then replied to Whitney's comment, stating that Whitney is better off without Heather and that Heather will only come back to Whitney when she has a use for her. Nancy claimed the same thing happened to her with the Vail storyline on RHOSLC and that Heather has not contacted her since. She finished the comment by saying she thinks the on-camera conversation she had with Heather will be the last she ever has, then apologized to Whitney for seeing the "real Heather."

RHOSLC's Whitney & Heather Have Strained Relationship

RHOSLC's Whitney Rose and Heather Gay on Watch What Happens Live

Whitney and Heather were known as "Bad Weather" on RHOSLC; at least that's what Lisa Barlow called them every time they ganged up against her. What that really meant was that Whitney and Heather were truly inseparable at that point in time, and whenever they chose sides, they did so together. Since Whitney brought up a private conversation the two had about Lisa, Whitney and Heather have been on opposing sides. The rift between the pair only grew larger as the season continued. RHOSLC season 3 is now finished, but their issues have not been resolved as Whitney attempted to apologize to Heather, and Heather said she wasn't quite ready to go back to how things were.

It's hard to believe Heather could be so flippant with her sister after constantly speaking on how important family is to her. Heather often speaks on her strained relationship with much of her family since leaving the Mormon church. Considering that strain, it is hard to believe that Heather would use her sister solely for a storyline and not continue that relationship. Nancy is also no longer a member of the Mormon church; thus, she understands Heather's familial issues. It is hard to understand why Heather would not want to have a relationship with someone who understands her struggle.

The only people who know the truth about this relationship are Heather and Nancy themselves. As spectators, fans can only guess what has occurred behind the scenes. Nancy's words could be very true, and Heather may have not called her since they were on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City together. It is also possible that Nancy exaggerated the situation to make Heather look bad, knowing it would cause backlash. Viewers do not see everything that happens in the lives of the Bravo reality stars; the nonexistent relationship between Heather and her sister is just another example of that.
