The first season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has come to an end, and Bravo fans couldn’t get enough of these Utah wives. Meredith, Lisa, Jen, Mary, Whitney, and Heather brought the heat and welcomed fans into the good and bad of their lives. It was refreshing to meet new ladies on an even playing field without knowing their backgrounds.

Over 13 episodes, fans have seen fights, tears, parties galore, and truth bombs. The ladies of Salt Lake City make it easy to love and hate them. Especially when they have iconic tag lines and quotes throughout the season.

"Life Changes, And We Have To Grow With It"

Fans of RHOSLC have to give Meredith and Seth credit for being so open and honest about their relationship woes in front of the camera.

It can be intimidating to have dirty laundry set out to dry on national TV, but Meredith and Seth did it with grace. They admitted they were separated and battling to make their marriage work. They also admitted when they were finally in a good place in their lives and watched to rekindle their relationship. This conversation with Seth was hard but necessary.

"Physically You're A Dream. Mentally, You're A Mess"

The friendship between Heather and Jen has had its up and downs throughout the first season. The ladies have some trust issues that were unresolved in the series finale. However, before their fallout, Heather was the only one Jen could rely on.

After a rough night involving too much alcohol, Jen dropped by Heather’s house to talk about what happened. When Jen asked her how she behaved, Heather’s hilarious honesty was nothing far from the truth.

"Keep Coming! Who's Next?"

After a long day of skiing, the ladies were tired. There was also pent up resentment from both Heather and Whitney when it came to Lisa.

Lisa felt bombarded but she spoke her truth. Instead of disengaging like her best friend Meredith does, Lisa welcomed the hits coming at her and asked who was next. It was a badass move.

"Thank You, I'm Disengaging. I Am Not Engaging"

The amount of times Meredith says “I’m disengaging” is staggering but it’s what made fans fall in love with her. She refused to stoop down to the other ladies’ level when they were arguing, and certainly did not allow anyone to speak to her in a poor manner.

When she had enough, she put her hand up and said “I’m disengaging” and left the scene. Meredith does not fool around with car fights in public. Especially as a well-known business owner in the area.

Was there anything more heartbreaking than watching Heather open up to a Whitney about wanting her happily ever after? Viewers rallied around her as she used the show to get on her own two feet and become financially stable away from her ex-husband.

Heather told the camera time and time again that she married out of duty and respect for her religion, not because she was in love with her husband. The marriage gave her three beautiful daughters but what she wanted more than anything now that she was single was a man to be in love with.

"You're Gonna Go With Mary, Who F***ed Her Grandfather?"

The most dramatic and shocking of all the things that happened in RHOSLC was Mary’s relationship with her husband. As it turned out, Mary’s grandmother was the head of the church, and when she was on her deathbed, she requested one of her granddaughters to marry her second husband.

This meant that Mary is technically married to her step-grandfather. Mary knows it’s weird, but it is what it is. She’s not ashamed of her marriage or lifestyle. Jen, on the other hand, couldn’t let it go.

"You're Old AF And You're Acting Like You're 10"

Whitney is one of the youngest ones in the group, but seems to have a good head on her shoulders. For only being in her mid 30s, some of Whitney’s comments and concerns were well beyond her years compared to Jen.

Whitney was level-headed and tried listening to everyone’s views in the middle of an argument. She also planned most of the parties in the group, which showed how much she cared about mingling with her new friends.

"When The Microphone Comes Out, You Know There's A Problem"

By the end of RHOSLC, it was revealed that Jen had eight (!) assistants. Funny enough, no one really saw Jen working during the season. She threw parties for her family and friends, but it makes fans wonder why she needs an army of eight people with her at all times.

In one scene, Jen’s assistants are decorating her home for a party but when things didn’t go her way, she whipped out the microphone. Was it extra? Yes, but that’s Jen Shah.

"Can You Get The Air Pods? I Want Those Back"

Mary sadly had a dramatic beginning to the season. She was good friends with Jen, but as soon as Mary accidentally insulted her, Jen cut her from her friend group. Even when Mary apologized for what she said, it wasn’t good enough for Jen.

To smooth everything over, Mary had an over the top luncheon that had a theme: Met Gala. All the women were dressed to the nines and Mary bought them extraordinary gifts by Apple, Louis Vuitton, and more. But when she and Lisa couldn’t resolve their differences, Jen left the table. Mary made sure to ask the girls to move Jen’s gift so she couldn’t take it with her though!

"I Deserve Presents Just For Breathing"

Lisa talking to her husband on RHOSLC

Lisa and her husband seem to be complete opposites, but there’s a lot of love between them. They base their marriage and family on the Mormon religion and have a mutual love for business.

In one scene, Lisa and her husband are having a date night. The couple started talking about their businesses and how hard they worked, and Lisa thought she deserved all the presents in the world from how much she did. As a working mom, Lisa has her hands full, but she does it with style and poise, which is something her kids can look up to.
