Season 10 of Real Housewives of New York took place in 2018 with seven iconic housewives. This was a special season because there were no new housewives on the roster, so all the ladies knew one another and were comfortable with each other. In fact, most of them women hung out even when they weren't filming, which only added depth to the series.
In the 10th season, all the women were going through personal issues but it was Bethenny's own meltdown that brought the women together as they watched-on in fear. It made the group likable. Without comparing other seasons (both past and present), we're ranking the most likable wives as they were in season 10.
Tinsley Mortimer
Season 10 was Tinsley's third season on the show. At this point, she was already familiar with the girls and their dynamics. She was close with Sonja at first but by season 10, she was getting closer to the other ladies and it seemed like Sonja didn't like it.
The two battled over finances in this season, with Tinsley standing up for herself and putting her money where her mouth was. While Tinsley didn't do anything to be un-likable in season 10, she didn't bring much to the table to feel otherwise. She was just kind of there.
Bethenny Frankel
Bethenny Frankel is typically one of the most liked housewives in every season she's in. She's witty, bright, and tells it like it is. She doesn't shy away from conflict and stirs the pot. It's been fun for viewers to see Bethenny's popularity grow over the years by in season 10, she was one of the most unlikable ladies.
Due to her pending divorce, her child custody battle with her ex, and her ex's restraining order coming to an end, Bethenny was at an all-time low. Her insecurities affected her relationships with all the ladies in the group. She battled with Carole over loyalty, insulted Ramona's skincare line, made fun of Tinsley's singleness... She wasn't in a good head-space and it showed in her actions. She was downright mean in season 10.
Dorinda Medley
Dorinda isn't an OG housewife but she does have the confidence of one. She was very comfortable with the women in season 10 but she had some dark moments. As per usual with Dorinda, her drinking got the best of her and the ladies thought she had a drinking problem.
She bumped heads with Sonja Morgan in season 10 over their past lives and Bethenny confronted her about drinking too much during a business dinner. However, Dorinda does step up to the plate in season 10 and helps Bethenny with hurricane relief and her personal turmoil. She also checks-in with Luann while she was in rehab. Dorinda has so many amazing qualities that are often overshadowed by dark tantrums.
Ramona Singer
As snobby and privileged as Ramona acts, she had a relatively great season 10, and RHONY wouldn't be the same without her.
In season 10, Ramona was shockingly level-headed and focused on her business and friends. She released her skincare line, Ageless by Ramona, and tried to not interfere with her friends' arguments. She even said Sonja could fight her own battles when it came to Dorinda! She did, of course, have her battles with Bethenny and Sonja but for once, fans were #TeamRamona. She was very agreeable in season 10.
Sonja Morgan
Sonja Morgan is the gift that keeps on giving in The Real Housewives of New York. By season 10, Sonja had been on the show for eight seasons and has given countless entertaining moments.
In this season, Sonja was bumping heads with a few members of the group at once, which was unlike Sonja. She and Tinsley started to drift apart, she claimed Ramona was an absent friend, and she and Dorinda could not connect on the future of their friendship. Nevertheless, Sonja brought gold to each dinner party and every scene involving the construction of her condo.
Luann De Lesseps
As much as viewers loved Luann in season 12, season 10 was a big one for Luann. She had just gotten out of jail and was trying to get her life on track. After marrying Tom in a whirlwind romance and separating soon after, Luann went downhill and found herself drinking and partying too much.
In season 10, she was coping with the loss of her marriage and her former self. She entered rehab, focused on her cabaret, and was the old Lu fans all fell in love with before she met Tom. She was the voice of reason in season 10 and it was refreshing to see her in such a good place and so honest.
Carole Radziwill
Carole Radziwill was incredibly likable in season 10 because she was #OverIt. It was her last season on the show and she comes to the realization that her relationship with Bethenny was ending. She should have focused on the relationships with other women, so that's what she does (much to Bethenny's chagrin). Aside from her arguments with Bethenny, a big part of the storyline was Carole gearing up for the New York City Marathon.
Watching Carole cross the finish line was emotional and proved she was capable of doing so much more. She handled her last season with grace and proved to be a successful underdog in the RHONY world.
