The Real Housewives Of New York City are back and better than ever, introducing a brand-new cast to the long-time Bravo series. With new drama and new housewives doing their best to take on the whirlwind New York City, the highly anticipated reboot of the franchise is shown off in an incredible trailer, previewing some juicy drama. It was previously reported that RHONY would be returning with a "legacy" style season that included former cast members like Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan, but Bravo chose to reboot the series entirely with new faces and fresh stories, in order to bring a more modern "New York" feeling to the show.

The RHONY trailer introduces new cast members Brynn Whitfield, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Sai De Silva, and Ubah Hassan. With the cast ranging vastly younger than the previous iteration of RHONY, the women seem like they'll be able to bring the drama.

In the trailer, the housewives trade off sharing the new philosophy of the series. “What I love about New York is that you can be anyone. We are loud, proud, and larger than life. We’re all fabulous women and we don’t take no for an answer,” the RHONY cast shares, before some of the most luxurious, dramatic, and entertaining moments from the upcoming season are previewed.

Real Housewives Of New York Introduces All New Cast Members

The new RHONY cast is composed of six new housewives, all coming from incredibly different backgrounds and circumstances. Sai, a content cerator from Brooklyn, is juggling her thriving business and family as she navigates a relationship with her estranged mother. Somalian-born Ubah is a model, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who's trying to take control of her burgeoning business. Erin is a Manhattan native who thrives on a drama-filled lifestyle as she runs a prominent interior design firm.

A newcomer to the social scene, Jenna is a businesswoman who's doing her best to be vulnerable and make new friendships. Jessel, who comes from a strict Indian background and originally hails from England, is trying to navigate the New York social scene with British sensibilities. Finally, Midwestern Brynn is a flirtatious socialite who thrives in the New York social scene, but seems to be longing for something more.

The RHONY Trailer Shows Some Serious Drama

The RHONY trailer shows off some of the huge drama happening throughout the newest season. The trailer features classic fights between the housewives, including what seems like a budding rivalry between Jenna and Ubah. It also previews some drama between the women and their significant others, like the interesting dynamic between Jessel and her husband Pivat Singh Randhawa. With classic Real Housewives style vacations and luxurious events, the new season of RHONY looks like a fun mix of old and new that's certain to be a must-see.

While many are concerned seeing newcomers joining the RHONY cast, the fresh-faces are certain to bring a whole new dynamic to the series, which was in need of a refresh. After years of following some of the older housewives and finding their drama tired and contrived, bringing in fresh cast members and new, fascinating storylines will be sure to at least revamp the series. With The Real Housewives Of New York joining a whole new generation of Bravo series, anything is possible as the series unfolds.
