It seemed Melissa Gorga came out on top over Teresa Giudice during the first episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 reunion, but the latter's not happy about this perception. Melissa is married to Teresa's brother Joe Gorga, and the sisters-in-law have had quite the tumultuous relationship that has played out on camera for everyone to see. The pair has gotten even more heated over the last few years, and their fighting has caused many other relationships on RHONJ to crumble. In a recent tweet, RHONJ's Teresa Giudice responded to a fan's video of the reunion, with a caption that supported Melissa in the Giudice-Gorga feud. The video showed a clip of the reunion and was captioned, "I have never seen Melissa eat someone up at a reunion but tonight she left Teresa in pieces." Teresa responded, saying, "Are you watching the same show? Lol."

In the video posted by the fan, Teresa is seen claiming that her brother Joe only visited her when she was in prison once, but Melissa claps back stating that it was because Teresa only put him on the visitation once.

The Melissa Gorga Cheating Rumor Explained

Teresa is known to spread rumors about Melissa cheating on her husband and Teresa's brother Joe, and has been for years. However, this new rumor that was revealed in the RHONJ season 13 finale seemed to be the final nail in the coffin for the relationship between Teresa and Melissa. Teresa alleged that Melissa's close friend Margaret Josephs was spreading a rumor about Melissa cheating, but it was Teresa and her friends who brought it to RHONJ. No matter who started the rumor, it is suspicious that Teresa's minions brought it to the show.

It is hard to pick sides in a family battle when most people are not part of the family, and it is hard to say who is truly right or wrong. In Teresa and Melissa's case, both claimed to be sharing the facts of what has occurred between them. The problem is that both see their own personal truth to be the facts of the case at hand. However, at this specific reunion, it seems that Teresa's claims are baseless for the most part, while what Melissa is speaking can actually be fact-checked and is easier to take as truth.

Teresa and Melissa (and maybe Joe) are the only people who know the truth about this relationship and the many things they claim the other has done. Neither Teresa nor Melissa sees the other in a positive light at this point in their relationship, which makes it hard to repair anything between the families. Hopefully, Teresa and Melissa can reconcile and bring their families closer together, but the longer RHONJ continues, the less likely that feels.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
