Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is spilling the beans on why her daughter Gia Giudice unfollowed her uncle, Joe Gorga, on Instagram. There's been family drama brewing between the Giudices and Gorgas in the wake of the huge fallout between Teresa and Joe and Melissa Gorga. Joe and Melissa decided to skip Teresa's lavish wedding to Luis Ruelas following an explosive fight where cheating allegations were hurled. The family feud has been brewing for years, and fans have gotten an inside look at the buildup.
Since Joe and Melissa's RHONJ season 3 inception, the couple has been at odds with Teresa. In the early days, the feud involved Teresa's ex-husband Joe Giudice. Gorga and Giudice went at it on several occasions in heated physical exchanges where their wives got involved. Teresa and Melissa already had their own issues to hash out. Teresa always claimed Melissa changed after marrying her brother, and Melissa believes Teresa stopped liking her once she married into the family. Teresa and Melissa have managed to play nice over the years. But during the RHONJ season 12 reunion, things came to a head after Teresa called Joe a "bi*ch" and admitted to not spending time with Melissa outside of filming.
Gia Giudice Unfollowed Joe After Joking About Teresa
Gia and the Giudice girls have done a good job at staying out of the adult drama. But, that is up until recently when fans took notice of Gia no longer following her uncle Joe on Instagram. “[Gia Giudice], she unfollowed [Joe] on Instagram,” Teresa revealed on the December 5 episode of WWHL, as captured by Reality Blurb. It was over a joke Joe told during one of his comedy shows where he suggested his comedy career would last longer than her marriage to Luis. “He’s my brother. So hearing that was really hurtful to hear [but] I wish his comedy career is successful," Teresa said.
Teresa Expressed Disappointment With Joe & Melissa
Teresa hasn't taken any low digs at her brother and sister-in-law, but she has become more vocal about her thoughts on the history behind their feud. The Namaste Bitches podcast host sat down for a tell-all with former RHONJ producer Carlos King and reacted to his revelations about how hard Melissa worked to get cast on RHONJ. Carlos revealed that Melissa had been sending him Facebook messages in hopes of catching his attention. Teresa has since started watching the early seasons and expressed how hurt she is finding out all the things her family said about her behind her back.
The OG housewife believes "money and fame" put a wedge between her and her family. The Real Housewives of New Jersey followed the ups and downs between the Giudices and Gorgas. Fans have seen everything from fist fights to Melissa begging on hands and knees for Teresa to leave her family alone.
