The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga says that despite feuding with her co-star and sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, on the show, she has no plans on making an exit at this point. The two women have been known not to get along, and their storyline on the show is always full of drama. However, Melissa isn’t going to be leaving The Real Housewives franchise over it, she’s pushing through.

On an episode of her podcast, On Display with Melissa Gorga, Melissa said, “I have no intentions on leaving. I never run away when the going gets tough. That’s not my personality.” The 44-year-old Housewife shared her stance amid rumors that RHONJ has been put on hold due to the feud she has with Teresa. The decades-long family drama has been a focal point of the show now for years and has always kept viewers of the show on their toes. Melissa added, “Our family has been through ups and downs for so many years on this show. I have never left before, and I have no intentions on leaving now.”

Teresa And Melissa Have Not Gotten Along For Many Years

While the casts of The Housewives shows are constantly changing, with women leaving and new women joining or coming back, Melissa has been a constant on the show since its third season, which aired in 2011. It makes sense that if she has stuck it out for this long that it would take a lot for her to switch it up now. Teresa has been a part of the show since its inception. Their latest feud is over the fact that Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, who is Teresa’s brother, chose not to attend Teresa’s wedding to her now-husband, Luis Ruelas.

While drama and arguments are commonplace on all The Real Housewives shows, the animosity between Melissa and Teresa has been at an all-time high for years. From personal matters to business ones, the two have not been able to see eye-to-eye for quite some time. It is one thing to have family disagreements, it is another to have them broadcasted on Bravo on a reality TV show for the world to see. That would definitely add another layer of difficulty to any situation. Having to speak out and tell the public about the intricate workings of family feuds would no doubt add more stress.

It is unclear if Melissa and Teresa will ever end their feud, but with the way things are going, viewers of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will most likely get to continue to see it all play out. Both women are extremely strong and don’t like to back down from a challenging situation, as has been shown over the years. It would be ideal for them to get along, seeing as they are family, on top of everything else, but in some cases, bridges can be burned, and it does make for good TV. Whether the producers of the show are encouraging the feuds is another thing, and maybe eventually the two women will be able to settle things. For now, though, they continue to disagree and stand their ground.
