Luis Ruelas opened up about why he thinks he has been targeted by the rest of The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast. During RHONJ season 13, Luis has turned over a new leaf--and not in a good way. Teresa Giudice's new husband went from a calm yogi to an irate blueberry in a blink of an eye.

After their RHONJ wedding special, Teresa Gets Married, the mother of four and Luis started a press tour with a stop on the Sherri Shepherd Show.

When asked about why he believes the rest of the cast came for him during RHONJ season 13, Luis retorted, "They're fighting for my wife's seat." In a bold statement, he explained that the RHONJ cast, including Joe and Melissa Gorga, had no choice but to come for him since they wouldn't directly go after Teresa, noting he was "next in line."

It all comes down to jealousy for Luis as he shared his opinions on why the RHONJ cast coveted Tereas'a OG spot. Teresa made sure to extend her voice, telling the host that since Joe, Melissa, and the others couldn't go right for Teresa, they go after "my honey." Naturally, the Skinny Italian author wasn't going to stand by and let her husband be attacked, sharing that she would never let them attack Luis, saying, "I'm very protective of him." Luis took one last dig, sharing that he had watched RHONJ's history and noted that the truth would come out eventually.

RHONJ season 13 was a rough one for the Gorga-Giudice clan as Teresa once again found herself at the center of a feud after starting rumors that Melissa was caught in the back seat of a car cheating on Joe. The gossip all became too much for Melissa and Joe, who decided to boycott Teresa's August wedding. The siblings have been fighting for decades, but this looks like it may be the end of their family bond.

Bravo recently dropped the trailer for the RHONJ season 13 reunion, which begins airing May 30, and the hatred between Teresa and Melissa is potent. Teresa was heard accusing Melissa of being the one who ratted her out to the FBI and sent her to jail, while Luis was attacked by almost everyone on the stage for allegedly hiring a private investigator to scrape up dirt on everyone. No love was lost between the two families, as neither one was pulling punches.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
