Taylor was born Shana Lynette Hughes in Independence, Kansas. The mother of one was born on June 10, 1971, and is a Gemini. The 51-year-old moved with her family to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Taylor was a cheerleader at Union High School. Upon graduating in 1989, Taylor moved to California and changed her name to Taylor Ford. There she started her own business situated around e-commerce.

Taylor's Love Life

After moving to Beverly Hills, Taylor met her first husband, Russell Armstrong, who was a venture capitalist, on a chance meeting while waiting to be seated at a restaurant. As RHOBH fans may remember, the couple married in October 2005 and welcomed their daughter, Kennedy Caroline Armstrong, who was born in 2006. Tragically, Russell committed suicide in 2011. Taylor is now married to John H. Bluher, who works as a lawyer. The couple tied the knot in 2014 in a beachfront ceremony.

Taylor's Job

Taylor is the only Bravo housewife to successfully cross over to another franchise so far, as she announced this summer that she would be joining The Real Housewives of Orange County. Taylor currently has a Cameo, where she charges $60 for a personalized video. Taylor is also working as a television personality and is making her money via her Bravo paychecks and related appearances like BravoCon. Taylor wrote a New York Times bestseller, "Hiding From Reality," as well.
