Ramona Singer from The Real Housewives of New York was recently spotted vacationing on the island of St. Barts. Earlier this month, the show was forced to shut down for two weeks after a cast member tested positive for the coronavirus. Now, some of the production crew is frowning on Ramona's decision to vacation.

It is no surprise to many fans of the Bravo reality series that Ramona would leave for a vacation in the middle of a pandemic. During the season 11 reunion, Ramona was called out several times by her castmates claiming she's been seen large events where no one was wearing a mask, and rarely ever follows the rules of wearing a mask. At the beginning of the pandemic, Ramona was staying in Florida (a hot-spot for COVID-19) with her daughter, Avery, and her ex-husband, Mario. The ladies were surprised she was even allowed back into New York City after coming back from Florida, seeing as she was seen multiple out and about with friends, maskless.

According to Page Six, the 64-year-old has angered some of the production crew for RHONY after they found out she jetted off to St. Barts. Filming shut down in the middle of January for two weeks after an unknown cast member tested positive for COVID-19. Now the crew is worried Ramona could be putting the cast and the show at risk due to her surprise getaway. “It’s very stupid,” a production insider said of her trip.“Likely she’ll have to quarantine for a while when she gets back.” Ramona may be trying to hide that she is on the lavish island, as she has been recently sharing pictures to Instagram of her NYC apartment. Despite her best efforts, reliable sources confirmed to the publication that the reality star was getting soaking up the sun in St. Barts.

One insider revealed that Ramona was seen at Le Petite Plage on Saturday night. They also saw her out and having fun over the past few days, shortly after she flew over to the island of St. Maarten. The insider added that Ramona has been telling people the mini getaway was a secret due to her contract with Bravo. While no one is supposed to know she is there, Ramona has continued to take pictures with fans, even boarding a public plane to get to the island. Lucky for Ramona, Bravo is completely fine with her vacation as long as she follows CDC guidelines. This means she will have to quarantine for seven days after returning from St. Barts since it is considered a high-risk destination.

RHONY's cast trip to Lake Placid was already canceled due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the cast and will possibly replace it with a trip to Ramona's home in Southampton. While it is unclear when filming will resume, it has been reported that the trip is taking place during the second week of February. This should give Ramona enough time to quarantine if she leaves the island as soon as possible.
