Ramona Singer is being accused of making a racially insensitive remark about The Real Housewives of New York City newcomer Eboni K. Williams. Details into the exact alleged comments she made have come to light. But Ramona is remaining adamant that the allegations aren't true. Whatever did happen, it's what caused the delay in production and cancellation of the season 13 reunion.

Eboni made history when she signed on to be RHONY's first Black housewife. With the season being filmed during racial unrest in the country and a presidential election, the show's conversations tackled the climate at the time. With Eboni's background as a lawyer and political news correspondent, she proved to be the perfect candidate to educate the predominantly white cast on their "white fragility" and "microaggressions." While most of the cast appeared open to Eboni's teachable moments, Ramona complained that she came off preachy. The two were constantly at odds over the course of the season and most recently it was revealed how bad things got behind the scenes.

Now on the heels of Bravo's internal investigation into RHONY being revealed, insiders have come forward with information into what exactly was said. “This is why we shouldn’t have black people on the show," Ramona is accused of saying to Eboni, Page Six reports. With the internal probe being closed due to a lack of substantial evidence, Ramona is in the clear over the shocking claims. But it there was something that went down between Ramona and Eboni that led to complaints of racism during production. However, Ramona says she's innocent. "I never said that. It’s a terrible lie,” Singer said in a statement. “It’s very disappointing that even after my name was cleared that people still want to slander me.”

Singer admitted to signing a confidentiality agreement and undergoing sensitivity training in the wake of the incident. If she didn't make the statement sources are saying she did, it's a wonder why she had to go through with diversity training. Eboni's team had no comment on the matter, which further hints at possible tension among the cast. It was the first time in Housewives history where a reunion show had been canceled. While season 13 produced dismal ratings, things weren't that bad for the entire reunion show to get axed. It's clear that the racism issues are what made producers scared to tackle the season's event in a taped reunion.

But the allegations against Ramona are just the latest that have many viewers wondering if it's her time to go. She offended the cast and viewers during season 13 with her insensitive remarks around race and culture. She reportedly was the one who ruffled everyone's feathers during filming for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. When looking at all the controversy she brings, while it could help boost rating, producers might need to add if Ramona's worth all the risks. There is still no word on season 14 of The Real Housewives of New York City and as more details surface, it looks like one of the ladies might not return.
