Ramona and Luann from Real Housewives of New York are fighting to keep their spots amid Dorinda being fired. It looks like no one is safe from the Bravo ax.

The women of The Real Housewives of New York have been a staple of the franchise, especially, Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan. The Bravo network was said to be making some diversity changes, but fans had no idea it meant firing Dorinda for her drinking. Even though the women many not encompass all of what New York City has to offer, they do represent a huge part of the wealthier side of Manhattan. This season has shown Dorinda struggle with anger, Ramona being a mean girl, and Luann still talking about her cabaret that no one cares about.

Once news broke that the network fired Medley because she was a "mean drunk" many viewers instantly thought that both Luann and Ramona would be next on the chopping block. Quite frankly, if the network did not think that Dorinda met with their image how have the other two women skated by? Luann was arrested for being drunk in public and Ramona has spitted out hate all season. According to OK! Magazine, the ratings have not been sitting well with the younger demographics and the network is looking to shake it up a bit.

A future of uncertainty looms. The Real Housewives of New York is not the only franchise that has given reality stars the boot. Many viewers feel the show has gotten a bit stale. It used to be fun watching older white women who brunch talk about their petty lives but now, in the current times, it comes across as too much privilege. It was also revealed that Ramona is fighting for her life on the show. It does not help her case that she is the eldest at 63. Luann is a tad bit younger at 55 but many feel her storyline has come to its natural endpoint. Production is looking to replace both women with new blood. The rumor going around is Leah McSweeney will be bringing in a few of her girlfriends to join the cast. The source also commented that Luann will be ok if she was let go since she was demoted once in the past. Everyone is worried about Ramona, saying "This show has become Ramona’s entire life, she would be lost without the show and the paycheck. Being on TV is her identity."

Bravo fans feel it is only fair to let Luann and Ramona go if the network felt that Dorinda was a liability. All of the women have been partaking in alcohol-fueled ragers and it seemed very unfair to put the blame on one cast member. Bravo is going to have one hell of a time fixing the mess they’ve made.
