The Real Housewives of New York former star Jules Wainstein can see her kids once again after her estranged husband's restraining order was lifted. The couple never showed a united front while appearing on the reality show and now it has gotten much worse.
Fans last saw the tall housewives’ mugshot after she was arrested for punching her ex-husband in the face back in late February. Police were called in Boca Raton and she was booked in Palm Beach County’s main detention center, the same place as former co-star, Luann de Lesseps. Wainstein was charged with battery. The fight broke out while the two parents were dropping off their kids in a parking lot.
News broke that the former reality star was now allowed to visit with her two children again. The Bravo personality was allowed to do so in part because the temporary restraining order filed by her ex-husband, Michael Wainstein, had been dismissed. The Sun released court documents that showed a Florida judge had dismissed Michael’s demand for a no-contact order as he felt as if he needed protection. The protective order included their son Jagger and daughter Rio and was rejected on April 13. The request was declined as the judge did not believe that Michael had enough evidence to support his case or presented credibility. It was also reported that Michael was vague while testifying in court.
The mother of two and Real Housewives of New York City star was beyond thrilled to be reunited with her children again but is still facing felony charges for the parking lot incident. The no-contact order that protects Michael from the Bravo personality due to the domestic violence case still remains in effect. The paperwork shows what Michael’s side of what happened the night of Feb. 24 saying Jules had a big baseball bat and hit his car with it. She was also said to have licked his car window.
Fans were aware that after her arrest, Michael was given custody of their children as they were present during the altercation. Michael has also made allegations that Jules's behavior has changed, and she has become more aggressive, and she has been using drugs. Fans remember Michael as the short and controlling husband that bullied his companion into trying to be the perfect step ford wife. He rarely was seen helping with the children and demeaned her for not having dinner on the table and blamed her for his coming home late.
