Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin is currently entangled in a nasty court battle for the ownership of the American pharmacy, Rite Aid. One of the original New York housewives has not been a full-time cast member since its fourth season, but she still manages to keep her name in the press. Jill joined the iconic series for season 1 as the show followed her life with her late husband Bobby Zarin, her daughter Ally, and their company Zarin Fabrics.

The mother of one left the Bravo series after season four along with four other of her castmates. However, Jill became of the most infamous characters to come out of the NYC franchise. She was known for her friendship with Bethenny Frankel, which was very strong the first couple of seasons, but began to crumble during their final season together. Jill has since moved on from her days as a housewife, but fans are more than willing to have her back on their TV screens.

Earlier this week, Page Six reported that the NYC native is currently in a court battle regarding the ownership of a Rite Aid in Canton, Ohio. The pharmacy was purchased by her late husband, Bobby, who actually bought more than one Rite Aid in Jill's name. The news outlet was told Bobby forked over $650,000 for the location in question. According to the court documents, a $1,695,000 loan on the Canton drugstore came due right at the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown. However, the incompetent property manager never told Jill, who has a new fiancé, about the loan, and the lender, Central State Credit Union, took over the pharmacy. They took over this Rite Aid and have since been collecting the rent.

Jill says she wants to be given the opportunity to pay off the million-plus debt and eventually take back the pharmacy she rightfully owns. Now Jill, who had her daughter through a sperm donor, is in a nasty court battle to fight for the Rite Aid given to her by her late husband, and she is not happy about it. In an affidavit obtained by the publication, Jill complained, "I have been caused to expend thousands of dollars on counsel to resolve what should be a routine matter." When reached out for a comment on the matter, Jill did not respond. However, a lawyer from the Credit Union did say, "We don’t comment on pending foreclosure proceedings."

Jill has always been one to hold sentimental value, so she is likely fighting tooth and nail for this pharmacy because it was a gift from Bobby. She will do whatever she can to win this court case and will not stop until she owns the Canton-based store. Hopefully, the Real Housewives of New York alum wins her case and is once again the proud owner of a Rite Aid.
