Eboni K. Williams of The Real Housewives of New York has decided she will be going on an extended social media hiatus in anticipation of the drama. Fans have already gravitated toward her and are looking forward to her spin on the women's issues.

Williams is already getting her hands dirty in trying to educate Ramona Singer about her white fragility, and the newest housewife is teasing some major drama for the upcoming episodes. The franchise just premiered its twelfth season, and fans of the long-running series loving it. Viewers have been looking forward to seeing how some of the OGs handle conversations involving race and the Black Lives Matter movement. Williams joined the cast and became the show’s first black cast member.

Bravo fans have to love a woman who knows how to argue semantics. And that is exactly what Williams did on the third episode as she technically argues she was the most educated one at the lunch table due to degrees. While it may not be her job to teach the other women about white privilege, the lawyer is still making her likes and dislikes surrounding certain conversations known. Williams took to her Instagram to let fans know that she would be taking a mental health break from social media.

The 37-year-old revealed on Tuesday that she was anticipating some drama from the upcoming Real Housewives of New York episodes and wanted to get ahead of the fans’ reactions. During the video, she encouraged her followers to watch the Bravo show and that what was discussed in the episode was “coming from a really vulnerable place.” The lawyer did ask that fans bear with her hiatus wasn’t goodbye, just a “see you later.” The rookie explained she would be cleansing herself of Instagram for about two weeks. While she didn’t go into great detail, she mentioned that episodes three and four would be intense and important, telling fans, “I want you to lean into them, and I want you to watch them.”

There is something about the Real Housewives of New York that makes it unique, especially since the show was filmed during the pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement. Williams would like the episodes to cause a frank discussion among viewers and a positive debate. Bravo fans came to respect her decision since it can be hard to be in the middle of so many fans’ opinions.
