Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel are The Real Housewives of New York alums who will most likely never be friends again, and we are here to explain why. The two used to be thick as thieves, but they never looked back as the bridge to their friendship burned after one big fight. The 57-year-old Jill recently spoke out about how she does not think she'll be close to Bethenny (who only did the show for money) in the future.

There have been several big fights on The Real Housewives of New York that have stuck in the minds of viewers. Ramona Singer clashed with everyone, Dorinda Medley tangled with Luann de Lesseps, and Bethenny got into a war with Carole Radziwill. Of course, there was also Jill and Bethenny's epic fallout. They were once the best of friends, but one fateful argument left them standing on opposite sides. Eventually, both decided to leave the show that made them famous. Sadly, Jill revealed that the feud was made up for ratings. It caused damage nonetheless, and there was no going back.

The issues happened during RHONY season three, when Bethenny accused Jill of being jealous of her newfound success, including the launch of her Skinny Girl business. Jill claimed Bethenny wasn’t there for her while her husband Bobby Zarin was growing concerned about his health. The two women refused to make up at different points over the course of the season. In the end, the fan-favorite housewife Bethenny decided that she would be leaving the show. While the feud was intense, Jill has moved on, and appeared very happy in her Mother's Day post below, as per her IG:

As the feud hit a crisis point, Bethenny claimed that Jill was jealous when she got to co-host The Today Show. Even though Bobby Zarin, Jill’s late husband, recommended Bethenny for the show, the two women couldn’t get back to the root of their friendship. It was also reported that Jill wasn’t a fan of Bethenny’s ex-husband, Jason Hoppy. When that rumor surfaced, the rift between Bethenny and Jill got wider. See a recent IG post of Bethenny's below:

Sadly, fans last saw the two New Yorkers together at Bobby Zarin’s funeral. Bobby had been living with thyroid cancer before he passed away in January of 2018. The Skinny Girl mogul attended the service and even had a moment with Jill outside, which cameras caught for season 9. Bethenny has since introduced her daughter Brynn and admitted that she had been in touch with Jill. However, fans are not sure how long the reunion lasted. As for either ever returning to the show, both have made it clear they are not looking to hold golden apples in the future. Bethenny said that doing the show was "not enjoyable."
