The king of Bravo, Andy Cohen, is finally acknowledging the drama between The Real Housewives of New York cast along with the declining ratings. The series has always been a fan favorite, but with multiple fan favorites like Dorinda Medley and Bethenny Frankel leaving the show, fans feel the series just hasn't been the same.

Production has hit a snag as multiple sources have confirmed that the season 13 reunion has been pushed back to October. Bravo fans are in a buzz as a total cast shake-up has also been hinted at after some rough episodes that failed to bring in the viewers. Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps are said to be on the chopping block. Some have pointed the finger at newcomer Eboni K. Williams, but the lawyer refuses to take the blame. Viewers have grown tired of watching Singer act out, especially after the political year everyone has had. Fans have been extremely vocal for the network to bring back old favorites or risk being canceled forever.

Cohen recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight telling viewers that New York City took a big hit with the coronavirus saying, “A huge part of The Real Housewives of New York City is reliant on New York City as the character in the show, and New York City was shut down during production.” Cohen revealed the cast and crew had to spend extended time at Singer's home in the Hamptons and in Salem, Massachusetts, doing things that the women would not have normally done. The host also claimed that he was looking into adding one more full-time cast member to round out the group of women, noting that viewers want to see more people.

Even though Cohen did acknowledge the number of obstacles Bravo had to overcome, it still hasn't satisfied viewers who frankly want to see the old characters they loved back at the helm. According to Cohen, the show will keep evolving. There have also been rumors that the network may be in talks with Bethenny Frankel. But a return of the B would need to have a full cast cleanout for her even to consider taking the gig, according to some sources.

The women of the Big Apple are currently hanging in there with a recent episode showing Leah McSweeney having to self isolate. The women are about to come to blows over a Shabbat dinner hosted by Williams. Some of The Real Housewives of New York have found Williams to be a bit too preachy, but Cohen made it clear he was still very happy with her as an addition.
