Until the news broke Thursday, there were several clues on the internet that led many to believe Teresa Guidice, from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, got engaged to her boyfriend of a year, Louis Ruelas. Rumors of their romance began to swirl in November 2020, shortly after the pair was spotted at one of Teresa's daughter's soccer games with a man who had his arm around her. It was later revealed in the press that the reality star had begun dating the entrepreneur over the summer.
Season 11 of the Bravo series covered Teresa's budding romance with Louie, who moved in with Teresa, and how excited she was to finally be with someone she connected with on an emotional, spiritual, and physical level.
Viewers finally got to meet the infamous Louie towards the end of the season when the couple went on a romantic date together and seemed very much in love. With the new season right around the corner, fans are excited to see more of Teresa and Louie's relationship.
The Couple Went On A Romantic Getaway
Teresa and Louie jetted off to Greece together earlier this week for a romantic getaway. Teresa had been sharing photos on Instagram Stories all week of the pair enjoying themselves in the European country. Teresa, who is reportedly done with Margaret Joseph, posted her first photo of the couple getting ready to fly away in a helicopter with a caption that read, "Up up & away with you is where I will always be." The snapshot is also tagged as Amanzoe, a luxury beach resort located in an area that overlooks the Aegean Sea. That same day, Teresa shared another picture of Louie nuzzling her neck with the caption, "Don’t ever stop dreaming," which had fans thinking she might be engaged. One fan even wrote in the comment section, "He is gonna propose this Trip." Right before Teresa shared these photos, infamous gossip site Deuxmoi hinted that the New Jersey native might be engaged.
There Was A Rumor Online
Earlier this week, Deuxmoi posted a tip from one of the followers claiming a "popular Real Housewife will be wearing something sparkly very very soon." While the source didn't confirm who the Real Housewife was, many fans and Bravo fan pages speculated that Teresa, whose boyfriend Luis hinted at an engagement before, is the lucky lady who will be walking down the aisle soon. She is the only popular housewife in a serious, non-marital relationship. While it was possible it could've been someone from The Real Housewives of Orange County, such as Shannah Beador or Gina Kirschenheiter, who are also in relationships, all signs pointed to Teresa.
Despite the speculation, nothing had been confirmed about whether or not Teresa and Louie were engaged or getting engaged until news broke Thursday. The trip to Greece was clearly more than a romantic couples getaway. Who will be the next cast member from The Real Housewife of New Jersey or another Real Housewives show to get engaged?
