The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Giudice says he will "always be grateful" for Teresa. The father of four wrote a lovely tribute in honor of the holiday.

The couple has had a long couple years thanks to their time spent behind bars, parents dying and Joe’s deportation. The U.S. Government delivered its final verdict less than a week ago, denying Joe’s third appeal to return to New Jersey. It is now official that Joe will never be allowed back into the United States and will call Italy his new home. Fans will recall that Joe was born in Italy and moved to the United States when he was a small boy. The contractor never obtained his American citizenship and was deported as a felon.

Even though Joe and Teresa have announced their separation, he did not forget to honor the mother of his four daughters on Mother’s Day. On Sunday, Joe took to his Instagram account to share with his followers that Teresa was the queen mother. He posted a short video that featured his four daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. The daughter also gave their own shout outs to their mother, who they thanked and said they loved very much.

The 47-year-old wrote how thankful he was for everything Teresa had done for him while he was away and for always taking care of the children. He also told his estranged wife that she was “beautiful” and a wonderful role model for his daughters and would always be grateful for her strength. Fans found out back in December that the couple was filing for a divorce and had decided to end their 20-year marriage. While on the show fans watched as Teresa often covered up her husband’s mistakes and watched how at times, Joe mistreated her. Thankfully, their four daughters took the news well as they were prepared for the breakup.

Fans were happy to see the couple trying to get along for their children’s sake. Teresa even commented back on the video with a bunch of heart emojis. For now, the two will continue to move on with their lives and go their separate ways, trying to navigate their next steps towards healing their now separated family. Teresa recently lost her beloved father and has been lying low as she grieves. She was close to her father, who moved in with them to help when Joe was sent to jail.
