Gia Giudice's business manager broke her silence less than a day after the Teresa Giudice versus Jackie Goldschneider fight broke out on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. After Teresa spread a rumor about Jackie's husband, Evan, Jackie used an inappropriate analogy involving Gia to show Teresa how much a rumor with no evidence can hurt.
The season 11 premiere of RHONJ aired Wednesday night and it started with a bang. In the opening scene, Jackie and Teresa are seen getting ready to begin the conversation that would eventually lead to a screaming match between the two. The episode then brought the audience to three days earlier, when the cast was getting ready for Evan's small birthday gathering. After everyone arrived and Jackie gave her speech, Teresa began stirring the pot by telling everyone at the party that Evan was spotted having an affair at his gym. The rumor eventually got to Jackie and she was more than upset with Teresa. Unfortunately, their chat at Margret's did not go as planned.
On Wednesday night, Teresa's business manager, Karianne Fischbach from Appian Entertainment, shared a lengthy statement on behalf of Gia regarding Jackie's analogy about Gia "snorting coke" while away at college. “Gia is a wonderful, smart, strong, and beautiful human being and what was done to her tonight was wrong on so many levels ... to bring Gia’s name into an argument & place an accusation with such a weighted consequence is inconceivable,” she wrote in the Instagram post. “I cannot fathom what would [possess] someone to create a false narrative that could have severe consequences for the innocent party involved ... what the cast members choose to do to each other is the nature of the reality TV beast, this was to [sic] far.” Both Gia and Teresa shared the statement to their Instagram Stories but deleted them shortly after. Gia has yet to make a personal statement of her own on the analogy. Teresa spoke about the fight during an interview with ET since the airing of the premiere episode. Teresa referred to the analogy as "disgraceful."
At the end of the statement, Fischbach included a shady reference to Melissa Gorga, alluding to the fact that she may have taken Jackie's side in the fight. “I hope apologies are made & I hope family sticks together on this one,” she wrote. “I’d have a hard time support friend who did that to my niece." Melissa stuck up for Jackie in past seasons when she was at odds with Teresa. Jackie and Teresa never fought like this before. After Jackie confronted Teresa regarding the baseless rumor about Evan, she compared Teresa's rumor to her hearing from an anonymous source that Gia is "snorting coke" in the bathroom while away at college. Teresa lost her cool and left the room while cursing Jackie out as she walked away.
Jackie assured the RHONJ fans that what she said about Gia had no truth to it and was simply an analogy. Unlike Teresa, who continues to stand on her soapbox and claim she does not know if the rumor she was spreading about Evan was true or not.
