Frank Catania of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has admitted that he most certainly screwed up with his ex-wife, Dolores Catania, and feels sorry. The househusbands of the New Jersey franchise have become almost as popular as their counterparts. More and more fans want to hear what the men have to say.

Whether it is the guys bonding over shots or Evan Goldschnieder making the observation about the women fighting and needing to carry granola bars, fans can’t deny that the husbands of the Garden State are funny. The season has been jammed packed with drama, thanks to Teresa Giudice flipping out over being called out for starting a nasty rumor regarding Jackie Goldschnieder’s marriage. But through it all, the men were at their ladies’ side if only to carry them to their Ferrari when they became too intoxicated (we are looking at you, Bill Aydin).

Frank recently sat down on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast to spill the beans on his take of the season. Many fans may not know that Frank first met Dolores when he was practicing as an attorney. He was at a party in North Haledon, and Dolores happened to be a waitress there. He gushed to fans that it was love at first sight, saying, So she was good enough to give me a date. And that's it. Two kids later, 20 some odd years, we're still here. And it was just love at first sight.”

But fans know that the couple didn’t have the fairytale ended, one would think as Frank ended up cheating on the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. For the first time, Frank opened up about his part in the divorce and taking all the blame. He told the host that he was a divorce attorney and most of his women clients looked to him as their “knight in shining armor.” The father of two went on to say that one thing led to another, and he “couldn’t stop.” But even through the hurt, the couple worked on their relationship and have a pretty enviable friendship today. Frank gave his ex-wife all the credit saying, “if it wasn't for Dolores and as strong as she is, we wouldn't have the relationship we have. I give Dolores 100% credit for that because she just an incredible, incredibly strong woman.”

While their relationship may be a bit unorthodox, it works for them, and fans really gravitate towards their honesty. For many, it is refreshing to see a modern family live together as once and support one another even if there may be no union to tie them. To be honest, fans are pleading with Bravo for a husband’s spin-off since the men often bring a good bit of comic relief to the episodes.
