The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Dina Manzo is speaking out against that that her sister Caroline Manzo is backing her estranged ex-husband, Tommy Manzo. The two siblings have been distant for some years, but no one thought it would get this bad.
Tommy Manzo was indicted as an accomplice to the break-in that happened over four years ago. He was also linked to the Lucchese crime family. Tommy and Dina tied the knot in 2007 and appeared in the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, where fans soon realized that mother of one was not happy in her marriage. Both split up in 2012 and finalized their divorce in 2016. It was alleged that Tommy hired John Perna in 2015 to assault Dina's then-boyfriend in exchange for a deeply-discounted wedding reception at The Brownstone. Then in 2017, Dina and David Cantin were viciously attacked in their home while visiting New Jersey, with Tommy being accused as the mastermind.
Bravo viewers know that Tommy is the brother of Albie Manzo, who is married to Caroline, Dina’s older sister. Both Manzo brothers own the Brownstone in Paterson, N.J. It was revealed earlier this week that Caroline betrayed her sister further by writing a letter to the judge advocating for Tommy. Before the family mess, the two sisters were as “thick as thieves,” but after a wedge was put between them they have hardly spoken. Now, thanks to @LukeMckibbon, Dina is getting to say her peace.
Bravo fans are well aware that since leaving the show, Dina has lived a quieter life. If anyone brought up the issues with her sister, she often didn’t respond or would ask for the negative comments to be taken down. But today is different after the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum learned that her sister betrayed her. Dina’s close friend, Luke McKibbon, shared a post where he mentioned he had kept quiet long enough as over the year he watched his friend take the high road saying Dina “would forbid me to say a word. But I can’t stay silent while others continue to talk to help keep their relevance.” He continued on to say, “I find this extremely fitting after all, they are your most famous words.”
Needless to say, Caroline is not about to win a sister of the year award. Dina commented on her friend’s post, saying she would normally ask for him to take down the post, but she is starting to think that staying quiet has not helped her in the past. Tommy has since been let on out bail, and only time will tell what will come next in the Manzo saga.
