Star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes says her co-star, Cynthia Bailey talks to her "like a dog," but isn’t bothered by it. The two were known as soul sisters for a better part of the franchise’s episodes, even at one point signing a friendship contract, however, now fans watch as they act more like frenemies.
Fans have been welcomed into her $2 million dollars home for the last 12 seasons since the show’s inception back in 2008. Atlanta was the third installment and the first all African-American cast. The Georgia peach has been through the wringer the past couple of seasons, from having to deal with her husband’s cancer to her battles with most of the ladies. However, not only is she one of the franchise's favorite housewives, but she's also the highest-paid at $2.75 million every season.
The current season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta had focused a lot around Leakes and her lack of friendship with Bailey. In Entertainment Tonight’s sneak peek of Sunday’s all-new episode, the original peach decided to have lunch with Kandi Burruss who is usually the voice of reason amongst the riled up women. During their lunch, Leakes revealed to Burruss that she was done with her friendship with the supermodel saying she was currently in a good place. Burruss listened intently as the mother of two went on to say that Bailey had spoken badly about all the women in the group. To Burruss’s surprise, Leakes spilled the tea that a mutual friend had recorded Bailey talking nastily about her and the friend recorded the whole conversation.
In the secretly recorded conversation, Leakes insisted that Bailey talked about her "like a dog" and at this point in time she could care less about rescuing their once strong bond. Producers were quick to jump on Leakes when she was filming her confessional, asking who the friend that recorded Bailey was, only to be denied an answer from Leakes who said that she was not going to divulge that particular information.
Many die-hard viewers have already come up with a suspect, Yovanna Momplaisir or better known as "that bit*h" when she claimed at last season’s dinner party that everyone knew who she was while attending the same college as Eva Marcille. Leakes has become close with Momplaisir thanks to her shopping at Leakes' boutique. The network has shown tidbits of episodes to come and one shows Kenya Moore hosting an "expose the snake" party where Momplaisir is a guest. Fans are frankly disappointed that the two mothers cannot get their act together and mend their broken friendship.
