Anthony popped the question on New Year's Eve and caught the anesthesiologist off guard. The couple welcomed 2022 in Aspen with their two-year-old son. Nicole may not have been rushing the engagement, but now that she has the ring, it seems like the rock has brought the couple even closer. Apeksha noted that the oval shape, 10-carat diamond was bright white and clean with "tons of sparkle." Among having a high grade and clarity, the Rare Carat COO estimated Nicole's ring to have cost about $600,000, saying: "It's classy and elegant, and a looker for sure!"
Nicole has never been opposed to the idea of marriage, but she felt like society as a whole put too much pressure on a piece of paper. While many might not jump to the legal benefits of marriage right away, Anthony has surely considered a few of them. Along with the martial tax deduction, there are some other benefits to saying "I do." There are also IRA and Social Security benefits for married couples. While they may have been happy to just live like they were already married, taking this step will help them feel more secure.
