The Real Housewives of Miami's very own plastic surgeon, Dr. Leonard Hochstein, is embroiled in legal woes. His wife, Lisa, has been filming for the show's reboot and fourth season set to air on NBC's Peacock. The Real Housewives of Miami hit the small screens back in 2011 but was prematurely cut short in 2013, much to the chagrin of avid fans.

The original cast included Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Larsa Pippen, Cristy Rice, Lisa Hochstein, and Joanna Krupa. The show had some epic moments, and Bravo fans want more. Season 4 is currently underway, and the cast was just spotted in the Hamptons, where they rented a house out in Montauk.

Page Six revealed the turmoil going on behind the scenes with the husband of the Miami housewife. Leonard, who was known by his wife as the "Boob God," is being sued by one of his former patients, Luz Del Alba. The former patient filed a malpractice lawsuit against the famed doctor after a thigh and arm lift. The procedure required liposuction, which left her with open wounds and “significant limitation” in her arms. Leonard has also fought back with his own lawsuits.

Luz also stated that she had suffered immense and constant pain. The outlet shared that in 2021, she had surgery with another doctor to try and fix the issues, but will have “severe cosmetic disfiguration” for the rest of her life. She is also suing for lost wages due to having to take time off of work to heal and recover. Luz is suing for $30,000. Another lawsuit was filed against Leonard and his practice in 2019. Christine Wilson alleged that a "metal surgical needle" was left behind in her after her breast augmentation surgery. Christine is seeking $15,000 in damages. The doctor told the outlet, “I have been a surgeon for 31 years. Up until this time, I have never been sued for malpractice."

It's been eight years since the last episode of The Real Housewives of Miami graced the small screen, but fans are very much looking forward to its return. The women of the Sunshine State just returned from the Hamptons after what was said to be a very juicy trip. Bravo was happy to bring back the popular franchise after a frosty cancellation, but there are no promises that it will be given a fifth season. If legal woes continue for Lisa and Leonard, the chances grow higher that the network may want to capitalize on the drama.
